Discussion: Steve Bannon Group Makes Six-Figure Ad Buy To Rally Support For Roy Moore

Great America Alliance, a pro-Trump political organization, has made a $150,000 ad buy to rally support for Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore in the two weeks remaining before the state’s special election, CNN reported on Thursday.

Great America Alliance is affiliated with former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, the chair of Breitbart News, who on Tuesday said he will travel to Alabama to campaign for Moore at a rally next week.

And this is taking place behind the smokescreen thrown up these past two weeks by the outing of so many progressive icons in government and media.

When will attention work it’s way back to the many offenses of the current occupant? Or has he sued all those women as he said he would during his Rooskie fueled campaign?

Sadly it looks like Moore will win. But I think things are still a little fluid in Alabama.

Side note - Bannon’s Group: GAA. That made me laugh - it’s initial’s make me think of the sound knuckledraggers make in the morning. “G-A-A”, (pause) “G-A-A”. So fitting for Steve.

And the Alabamans were screaming bloody murder about outsiders trying to tell them who to vote for.

this gives Bannon a chance to claim honors & embellish his rep
he could have a four figure ad buy & Moore would still win
here in the South we have always excoriated outside agitators. during civil rights era it was always outside agitators. now, its the WaPo…the dreaded NE Liberal outside agitators
like Pavlov’s dog we are wired to go berserk about you carpetbaggers and such

ignoring credible allegations of child molestation is easier…as long as you have some “other” scapegoat

Then tell the rest of your co-southerners to pay some damn attention - Steve Bannon is not from the south. If he isn’t the very definition of a carpetbagger then I guess I don’t know what they are - but I DO know what that means and it means STeve fucking Bannon.

Bannon ain’t no carpetbagger. He’s just a good supporter of our godly candidate and favorite bigot and child molester, Judge Roy. Anybody who supports Judge Roy is welcome. But, if you’re for that damn democrat Jones, even if you’re a 5th generation Alabaman, then get the hell out. And if you come in here tryin’ to tell us the truth about Judge Roy, why we’ll run you outta town on a rail.

Well Steve, hitch your star to this wagon - not sure which part gets more soiled. Some of those ministers supporting Ole stalker/molester Moore - well their baggage is now getting scrutinized as well. Both of these are from David Frum’s Twitter feed:

Doesn’t have to be about Roy. It can be the truth about any damn thing.

I’m donating to the Jones campaign (again; and again). I can’t be there to knock on doors but I can help offset the costs of that operation.
I guess when you’re in Alabama - or the right wing bubble anywhere - an alternate-reality world is easier than reality every day of the week.

Too much Jesus does that to people. They are already living in a fantasy Jesusland.

I hear they’re going to put billboards up all over Alabama reading

PROTECT ALABAMA’S CHILDREN
SEND ROY MOORE TO WASHINGTON

So, in addition to being a drunken lout, a true right-wing nutjob and generally a poor excuse for a human being, Bannon supports the election of a pedophile to the U.S. Senate. At least we know where this animal stands.

The Federalist just went all-in for the kiddie fucker…

Well of course they did.

It was a choice between Kiddie fucker and a Democrat. Like no choice at all.

For the goddamn Federalist.

The Conservative Movement is drowning in it’s own corruption.

That amount won’t make a difference:

The imbalance is stunning, with just two weeks to go in the campaign: Jones has aired more than 10,000 spots on broadcast TV in Alabama since the primaries, while Moore, the embattled GOP candidate, has run just over 1,000, according to figures compiled by Advertising Analytics.
Fueled by millions of online dollars pouring in to defeat Moore, Jones’ campaign has flooded the airwaves with over $5.6 million of TV ads overall during in the general election campaign. Moore has answered with about $800,000 in ad spending, according to Advertising Analytics.

I have a 14-year-old daughter. If I caught Roy Moore doing what was alleged, I would kick him where it counts.
I don’t have a daughter at all, and I’d still like to kick Roy Moore in the nuts for doing what he did.
