“a catheter bag full of candy corn” may be the single most perfect alliterative insult I’ve ever read, as well as descriptively spot-on.

We may have lost Jon Stewart, but we now have Colbert on a really big stage. Even if Trevor Noah turns out to be a bust, I think we’ll be OK.
