Sarah simply has “the burden” of Sarah…

Of course. Once they see that public opinion is against them, they puss out worse than the WW2 Italian Navy.

NO RAPTURE FOR YOU, Sarah!

They could impeach both Obama and Biden, so Boehner would become President if the Senate convicted them. Go for it, GOP!

In other words, they need to kick their inner ‘Kenneth Starr’ up to 11.

“I believe that Sarah Palin … doesn’t have the burden of leadership right now. It’s really easy for her to go on Fox News and make statements that she doesn’t have to be accountable to anybody but herself.”

In other words, I guess being a leader is kind of like going on Fox News to make a statement, except that you have actual responsibilities.

How about if they “redouble” their efforts to address some actual issues facing the American people instead of spending every waking moment and unlimited tax payer dollars on “investigations” which never seem to produce any results.

Oh yeah… the “investigations” (cough, cough) serve only to keep them in the daily news cycles.

" ‘…we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment.’ -Sarah Palin"

Here comes the vehement opposition! Any second now. After all, Palin is clearly a trustworthy woman who always follows through with her rhetoric…/

Lovin’ old Randy Weber and his “we’re too busy right now.” When it comes to making you sound like a weenie, that one’s a close contender with “We could do it if we wanted to. We just don’t want to.”

“But … we have so much on our plate that it’s not practical.”

WTF!?!

It’s those “secret meetings with kings & queens” that Scott Brown spoke of, takes up all their time.

Joe Walsh just popped into my head: " they say I’m lazy but it takes all my time…"

True, life has been good to them. But with any luck, only so far.

Not just oppose, vehemently oppose.

You tell 'em sister Sarah. Your “burden” will be carried by many. Just not by you, As always.

But, we will forever carry the budern of Sarah Palin.

Thanks McCain!

“I like Sarah Palin,” said Rep. John Duncan (R-TN). But “nothing would fire up the base of the Democrats more than an impeachment action” and “turn off some of the independents who are leaning our way.”

Any “independent” leaning their way is no “independent” but a coward who has no courage of convictions or political affiliation to admit what they really are. I don’t know of too many “independents” who vote democratic.

that was my favorite part too…they are just “too busy” to consider impeachment at this point! Didn’t they actually schedule fewer than 100 days of work this year on their “calendar”?

You must mean Jimmy Duncan—John was his father, who held the hereditary seat for 24 years before Jimmy got elected by thumping on Daddy’s coffin, and has now served 26 years.

He wanted his son—named John after his grandfather—to continue the tradition, but he got caught doing illegal things as Knox County Clerk and had to resign—and then he had a messy and very public divorce, which shined a light on assorted skeletons.

In all his years in Congress, Jimmy has never authored a single bill that has become law.
But his constituent services are spectacular—thanks to his staff—and that, along with being a Republican in the reddest part of the state, is what gets him re-elected every two years.
