Good. Though I can already see the tantrum he’s going to throw

SCOTUS is famously willing to override FL supremes, moreso now that they have their permanent 5-4 majority.

And how many people pissed about this court decision were just fine with the ‘theory’ behind blocking Merrick Garland?

And unless we have a hidden bias issue (and Gillium is overperforming the actual votes he will get, unlikely in the age of Trump where racists no longer hide, they are out and republican) the next Governor will be a D.

This has profound implications for redistricting. D’s ought to be able to pick up 2-3 seats (from the current 16R, 11D).

It’s a sign of the times that this outrageous maneuver was attempted in the first place.

Liars and cheats that’s all the GOP is at this point.

This is a state-law question. No federal jurisdiction.

I don’t think this is appealable to SCOTUS, as this case rests solely with Florida state law.

More liberal activist judges legislating from the bench. Would could be more clear than the right of the former governor whose term has expired to continue to exercise the powers of the office until his successor is sworn in.

Much as I like the Skelator reference, I like the Voldemort ones even better! Kudos to you and Irasdad.
