Discussion: State Dept. Spokesperson Calls Accusations Of Racism 'Disgusting And False'

She meant to say the State Department isn’t racist yet. They haven’t fiinished purging all the career staff.

(And yes, of course, that’s not the allegation that was made – typical right-wing dishonesty)

“We don’t see race, only color,” she added.

It’s telling that the State Department denial avoided addressing the specific allegations.

Ms. Nauert was formerly a Fox anchor and analyst so she’s practiced deflection quite well.

Do not be fooled by our deafening silence and inaction in the face of other’s racist acts or by our withdrawing from that anti-white UN Human Rights Council, we are not racists. We are merely sticking up for all of the good white people in the world who are being discriminated against because of their color.

The same Ms. Nauert who needs a 6" binder at the ready for each briefing because she doesn’t know or understand anything occurring inside the State Department. “Wait, let me look that up . . .”

Blah blah blah - anyone who works with Stephen Miller is a fucking racist, his own family says so. I don’t care what kind of justifications they come up with for their actions - as far as I know, the UN Human Rights Council is a bit of a sham - but are we making it any better by withdrawing? Are we looking good about equivocating over when to call racism a bad thing? Are we making anything, any one single thing in the entire world, better by any of our actions since Trump took office? Everything they write and say sounds like racists trying to justify their racism.

I note that the Trump administration uses the word disgusting a lot when confronted with any kind of criticism. Really? That is the same argument my daughter used to use about everything when she was an insufferable teenager.

Too funny. What the hell does she need with that huge stack of papers?
What a ridiculous prop.

The assertion that @StateDept is “racist” is disgusting and false—a brazen attempt to create division for domestic political gain. State is among the most diverse of government agencies, employing a workforce from every part of America and every region of the globe.

Dear Piece of Fox Shit:
Let’s poll the diverse DOS employees on their opinion of the policies and actions that the DOS is currently pursuing. If they support those policies and actions, then you get to talk about DOS diversity. If they don’t support those actions, we can get back to discussing the racist-comforting actions taken by the political appointees. I dare you.

Disgusting! It’s completely unfair to insinuate that the fine folks heading up State are racist. Just because this move will give cover to racists, lead to racially discriminatory outcomes, increase the likelihood of race-based hate crimes, etc., etc, this should in no way impugn the character of anyone involved. After all, no one can prove the existence of any tapes in which anyone uses the n- word, and that’s what counts now, right?

If it walks like a duck but steps like a goose and looks like a weasel it’s probably affiliated with Stephen Miller.
