Shortsighted. Truthfully, though, I see it the other way around: The Girl Scouts should sever ties with organizations who seek to subjugate girls and women to second class citizenship.

This just makes me ashamed to have been raised a Catholic. While I am no longer āreligious,ā I used to try to commend the church for some of the good values it espoused - especially caring for the poor and social justice. But this is just about judging. No wonder the younger population runs away from religious affiliation.
