Watched Spongebob with the kids when there were young. He can still make me laugh.

Sad news indeed. I never would have watched this show if it weren’t for my kids. It’s cute, clean (no swear words) and super funny. Sad that we lost a comedic genius. Tears…

ALS is cruel that way.

A seasonal memory

This world was just too mean for SpongeBob. RIP.

That sucks. RIP. Oddly, I liked SpongeBob and it gave me many a giggle when it first became popular…early 2000s I believe…despite being a grown person (but not necessarily an adult I suppose). Maybe it was the weed lol

That giggle made me want to claw my ears off, but damn he was good.

Never could stand it, but had adult friends who couldn’t get enough of it when it started up, and my kids will watch as much of it as they can (which is only on the infrequent occasions we are in a hotel room, since we don’t have cable or online equivalents).

The show has creativity I can admire, but my eyes don’t like it, my ears don’t like it, and I have no emotional engagement with it. It’s probably better than 90% of what I watched growing up, but I only remember the good stuff now, so…

ALS is a horrible, horrible disease. My heart goes out to his family. We lost my brother in law to that disease a few years ago. I remember my kids discovering SpongeBob when it first started on the air, and we laughed together. So sad Stephen passed this way.
