Wonder how much that Keytruda drug costs every three weeks. How much you want to bet it ain’t cheap. Probably in the tens of thousands of dollars for a dose I’d guess. He’s fortunate to be an ex-President. Long health President Carter.

Glad to hear it. You can be grateful for every political figure out there who actually makes you feel a little bit better about life. Stay well, Jimmy.

The wholesale acquisition cost for each 50 mg dose of Keytruda is $2,158. The cost of treatment with this drug will vary depending on the patient’s circumstances. Each one-year treatment is likely to be more than $110,000.

It ain’t cheap! I assume Medicare and supplemental insurance will cover most or all of the cost?

Great news for a very deserving man who has been greatly undervalued for his stint as president.

The original diagnosis is the one that killed my father in law. I’m gobsmacked. Pleasantly.

Jimmy Carter is a great man. He deserves to live out his life without drama or pain. This is wonderful news.

“Carter, 91, apparently shared the news at one of his regular Sunday School classes.”

So many “evangelicals” in politics divide and wound and hate, yet this one unites and heals and loves.

A shining example to the rest, but a pearl before swine…

Life can be fair. Sometimes good things happen to good people.

I am probably way too harsh on former Presidents and (certain Senators and SoSs  ) for their actions while in office, but then comes along Jimmy Carter to remind me that you can get out with a pretty clean record if you put your mind to it. And then he had to top it off by not cashing in on his time in office, and instead devote himself to public service.

He´s making it hard for some of the others.

Congrats, Jimmy.

Also, I´m happy you´re gonna be around for awhile, Mr. Carter, as I am gonna shed a tear when you go.

Good for Jimmy, cancer does not discriminate and every individual has their own private battle, he seems to be winning his.

And btw, whatever happened to his bro, Billy?

Died of pancreatic cancer (like his two sisters!) in ´88 at 51.

Their older brother has had better luck.

If the drug’s yearly cost is $110,000, I would guess Medicare Part D would result in about $12,000- 14,000 out of pocket. (Donut hole!) But I would also guess that the drug is not yet in pill form. If the drug is administered by infusion at a doctor’s office, Medicare Part B plus Supplemental Insurance should cover all of it.

I’m very glad this drug proved so effective for President Carter.

I thought that maybe the awful beer that he produced might’ve gotten him.
I have about a case of that stashed for some reason I can’t remember.

As your financial adviser, I suggest you hold until the first week after Pres. Carter´s demise, and then unload.

I can not ethically accept anymore than a 10% commission for this strategic advice.

If I can figure out how to get 2.4 of those beers to you, then it’s a deal : )
