This is my shocked face…
In total, the SPLC found that white supremacists killed at least 40 people in the U.S. and Canada last year—up from 17 in 2017.
And not one of those victim’s families will ever be used as a prop at any Trump or Republican event.
If the Democrats could get all the family members together at some event and highlight why they are there, maybe some people on the right will finally wake up to the danger Trump represents. Those family members of the 40 victims would have to number in the hundreds.
Am I being unrealistic thinking that it may wake someone up?
Staffers for virulently anti-immigrant groups like the Federation for
American Immigration Reform and Center for Immigration Studies were
given high-level posts in the Trump administration
You used to have to have right-wing billionaires funding wingnut welfare, but now the government can do it directly.
The number of active hate groups in the United States soared to a “record high” of 1,020 in 2018, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center’s latest “Year in Hate” report.
1,021 groups if you count the republikkkan party.
Don’t think of it as there being more groups. Think of it as the GOTP diversifying.
Until they list the RNC/GOP as a whole, they’re still dramatically under-counting.
Must be all of that economic anxiety and a jolt from the tax cuts.
Because Dear Leader is setting the example.
My belief now ,and always has been, is Trump knows how inferior he is and uses hate ,meanness, and extreme hurt to prevent anyone feeling they know more then he does.
This is all he has and a long list of hangeron’s who will to anything to be noticed and many get rich.
Finally!! MAGA winning. (Snark.)
I honestly don’t know why the SPLC doesn’t name the GOP as a hate group. It satisfies the definition.
I guess there are some realities that are so hard to confront that you just ignore them.
Have we impeached the motherfucker yet?
How much of this fucking hatefulness do we have to put up with??
“Go get them Nick.”
The Trump Effect.™
Yep. And everyone knows that Cockholster’s latest polisher Bill Shine keeps a tight reign on the “visuals.” That includes, of course, those who appear in frame at all of his events.
The new leader of the far-right group called the Proud Boys made a cameo during President Donald Trump’s latest televised speech, in Miami on Monday. Sitting in the audience clad in sunglasses and a black T-shirt bearing the slogan “Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong,” Enrique Tarrio appeared on camera right behind the president.

Speaking of Shine-ola …
I talked to seven of these clowns over my reporting career and they all had two things in common.
- They were all dumber than the contents of a street sweeper.
- They would believe ANYTHING but the truth.
I wonder why that is.
Based upon many past errors, I would take anything put out by the SPLC with a grain of salt.
"…as it fearfully anticipates a multicultural wave washing it out,”
Hmm, that’s not the analogy I would have chosen, I was hearing water mixed with solids leaving audibly down a pipe closer to home.
