Discussion: Spicer: Trump Wants 'Heart' In Secret Health Bill, Won't Say What That Means

Means that he will sign whatever makes to his desk, as he has not had any legislative victory. If his haters get screwed by the legislation so much the better, if his supporters get the shaft as well, it doesn’t matter because the idiots refuse to admit that they are making a mistake by supporting Trump and claim that they like all they are seeing and it’s just the media being mean with the boss.

Funny, I want a stake through that “heart” in any repeal bill.

Such utter and complete BS. Trump wants it to ‘look’ good so he can tout it, bash Obama and then undermine it when the people start to scream. Heart my ass.

Trump and GOP supporters don’t care what happens to anyone receiving Medicaid. They think of them as all moochers and deadbeats. If they all dropped dead a good portion of the GOP base would applaud. And no, I am not kidding.

The AHCA may or may not have heart, but we know for sure that it won’t have any brains and the Republicans passing it in secret have no courage.

Sean Spicer said Tuesday that President Donald Trump wants the Senate to pass a health care bill that has “heart.”

Move the “h” to the end of the word and it spells “earth” - which is where hundreds of thousands of people will be buried because they no longer have health care coverage.

It could mean Donnie wants to be eligible to have a heart implant to fill the gaping void in his chest.

Maybe if that works out for him, a brain implant could follow?

Well they will applaud until they realize that Grandma is getting evicted from the nursing home. Lot’s of people do not realize it but an important percentage of Medicaid goes to seniors, the so-called dual plans, Medicaid picks up what Medicare does not cover.

Real clear that the GOP Senate isn’t paying any attention to Rump or his WH. As with the military, they’re just going off and doing their own thing as they see fit.

Every person/group for themselves because the WH is basically empty.

The debt ceiling fight should be pretty brutal.

I had such a great plan to fix Syria - it’s the generals’ fault.
I had such a great plan to fix health care - it’s the Senate’s fault.
I had such a great plan to fix X - it’s Y’s fault.

He wants hearts. Literal hearts. Ripped out of the chests of the uninsured like the scene from 'Temple of Doom.

Nothing else will settle the bloodlust for hurting people caused by us not taking him seriously as our savior.

It’s a wealth transfer bill, and Trump <3 money.

That’s what Spicer means.

“So I’m not going to get into the private discussions that have occurred. But I will just say that the more that we can do to produce a bill as it works its way through the process that achieves the President’s goals, I think that’s something that we can all agree on.”

And just what are those goals?

“I mean, the President clearly wants a bill that has heart in it,” Spicer responded. “He believes that health care is something that is near and dear to so many families and individuals."

Uh huh…

In 2000, during a family dispute about the details of his father’s will, Trump, who was by then fabulously wealthy in his own right, cut off benefits from the family health plan that were paying for the medical care of his nephew’s seriously ill young son…

“This was so shocking, so disappointing and so vindictive,” said niece Lisa Trump, whose son, William, was born 18 months ago at Mount Sinai Medical Center with a rare neurological disorder that produces violent seizures, brain damage and medical bills topping $300,000…

Trump, for his part, was unapologetic about his actions. “Why should we give him medical coverage?”

If Spicer’s just gonna shovel shit at the press, why does the press care if the audio and video are turned off?

God help us.

“There were some reports out that President Trump told members of that tech meeting yesterday that the Senate health care bill needed to have ‘more heart.’”

Actually, what Chiselin’ Trump said was that the bill needed “more heartless cruelty.” It was mistakenly reported as “more heart, less cruelty.”

It won’t happen, but it would be the most magical wraithing possible if the House and Senate leadership hung an anchor around their membership’s necks only for Trump to veto the thing to bolster his own personal popularity.

(not an original thought on my part)
