Discussion: Spicer Stonewalls On Kushner, Trump Citing His Own Anonymous Sources

Asked again later how it could have been appropriate for Kushner, as a private citizen, to attempt to establish a channel to the Kremlin through Russian facilities, Spicer referred to Kelly and McMaster again.

Kelly and McMaster should put their money where their mouths are. Walk into the Russian Embassy in D.C. and ask to use a secure room safe from surveillance by U.S. intelligence services to speak with Russian politicians and bankers. Then when asked if they did it, don't list it on various reports. Then later amend those reports. Then when asked about the entire sequence of events say it was all proper.

Tell us how that is viewed by the U.S. intel services, Congress, the FBI and other agencies.

Spicer’s an amateur, like the rest of them in the west wing.

He keeps on saying that the facts, or some statement by whomever, “speak for themselves”.
Doesn’t he think we’re entitle to a translation from the original Russian?

Kushner, Trump, Flynn, et al, are almost certainly massively guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors, including money laundering. The crimes are so egregious, so damning that the ONLY course of action for these bastards is to lie, lie, lie; delay, delay, delay and take the 5th Amendment cop-out when cornered. If our nation still have even a glimmer of the honor and guts it had when a bi-partisan committee kicked Nixon’s ass to the curb in the 70s, then Drumpf is going down…hard.

Cut the “back channel” bullshit.

Kushner wanted to sneak into the Russian embassy and use KGB encryption equipment to clandestinely talk to the Kremlin in order to evade detection by the US intelligence and national security communities.

Fun Fact: Right up to the moment Donald Trump is officially discharged or removed from office he can pardon everyone for anything and everything they’re ever done illegally in their entire lives.

Fuckin’ A. The truth is out there, but it goes to die in the WH press briefing room.

Was he wearing his, “I went to the Vatican and all I got was this lousy T-shirt” kit?

Only for federal crimes.
He cannot pardon state offenses.
Or impeachments.

It is fun to watch a Press Secretary essentially walk out, repeat “No Comment” 15 different ways, get mad a reporters for asking the most obvious questions imaginable, then slither back into his cave so the White House can rail against journalism.

The fact that they’re not even denying the allegations; which is there usual play, regardless of the facts of the matter; is interesting to me. If they can’t even be bothered to lie about it, then I have to wonder what the bigger shoe they’re worried about dropping is supposed to be.

No president can issue a pardon for a state crime.
Period.
Full stop.

Did anyone ask how the President feels about being called fat by the Pope?
