Discussion: Spicer Says He Expects Sally Yates To Tell The Truth In Senate Testimony

you raise your right hand and agree to tell the truth

Because truth is an outdated concept in the so called administration and in Spicey’s own briefings.

Oh sure, SpiceBoy, we know you and your Don are excited to hear the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. As long as it’s favorable to you, that is.

Anything else we take for granted will be spewed as “FAKE NEWS!”

“I would assume that when you raise your right hand and agree to tell the truth and nothing but the truth that you’ll do that."

Why?

Your employer raised his right hand and agreed to protect and defend the Constitution, after all.

“Spicer Says He Expects Sally Yates To Tell The Truth In Senate Testimony”

Now there is an Earth-shattering news item. The principal spokesman for the President . . .oops, the Fake President of the United States expects a 27-year United States Attorney and former Deputy Attorney General of the U.S. to tell the truth under oath.

I guess that is a revealing reflection upon this administration’s utter contempt for the “Truth.”

Sad state of affairs when we even have to ask if the Trump administrations thinks a former high-ranking official will tell the truth.

And still, I don’t believe Spicer at all. We’ll wake up to Ladyfingers continuing to suggest – without having the guts to come out and say it – that Yates lied.

Spicer’s gone native at this point, having imbibed the Trumpean corporate culture long enough. He no longer understands what it means to respect external limits, like laws against perjury, or internal limits, like the norms that govern an honorable person’s behavior. It’s beyond his ken at this point. He’s part of a crime syndicate that strives all day, every day, to get away with everything it can. Laws, morality, honor mean exactly zero to them. So they can’t recognize or understand it when other people value them.

Not good for the Drumpf Misadministration. Lindsey is going after the Russians with both barrels.

Of course she will tell the truth, she doesn’t work for Trump.

“Do you have any reason to doubt that her testimony, which will be under oath, will be truthful before this senate subcommittee?” one reporter asked Spicer during his daily press briefing Monday.

What the hell kind of reporter asks this question? Was it a Breitbart flunky? The woman was the fucking assistant AG of the United States. She knows what it means to be under oath.

What a sad comment on this current administration that is it just assumed that officials will lie under oath.

Amazing how SpiceBunny can be so incredibly ironic, expecting someone to tell the truth. ROFLMAO…

We’re going to have to resurrect Colbert’s “truthiness” and hope that the scoundrels in the WH can at least go that far.

She tells the truth and Spice will express deep shock, even act outraged of her “obviously misleading” testimony, repeating the phrase that they expected her to tell the truth.

Hold on, now he’s not…

Even then, he did bring it back to the Russians.

Give him a few minutes, he’ll spin back again…

Won’t matter. Whitehead is going for the gold.

The fact that Yates is not a member of your administration dramatically increases the likelihood of truthfulness.
