If anyone knows what it’s like to have a (small) thing jammed down his throat, it’s Sean Spicer.

“we are not jamming this down anybody’s throat.”

Technically true, but really a sleight of hand here by Spicer. It'll only be available in suppository form.

I think you have to have a combined mouth-anus to be on the executive staff anyway.

Edited to add: LOL. You added the pic just as I added my reply.

I was about to say a somewhat more graphic version of the same thing.

I wish some reporter would ask Spicer what the Republican plan does to improve Medicaid coverage when he says people have a Medicaid card but cannot get care. How does their plan improve the coverage options? I know it doesn’t, but I wish someone would ask Spicer that question instead of just letting him rattle off talking points.

No, we’re just going to try to get this passed in the House and Senate before the CBO has time to review it and before the protests can really get going. And we’ll be putting serious pressure on our House and Senate members because we know that this is our one best shot to pull this off.

But hey, no, we’re not “jamming this down anybody’s throat…”

So what fool Representative with any sense of self-preservation would just trust Paul Ryan and vote in any way without the CBO assessment? And I’ll bet Ryan knows the likely CBO numbers and just ain’t telling.

The bill is so breezy and light on specifics, it probably couldn’t reach the uvula, let alone the throat…

Because of the unusual way that the ACA was passed - Kennedy dying, Scott Brown replacing him, etc - the bill sat for three months between the time it passed the Senate and when it was finally passed by the House.

For THREE MONTHS the bill sat - letter for letter, no changes whatsoever on what would be voted on - between the time of the Senate vote and the House vote. For THREE MONTHS, anyone and everyone could see what the bill was going to be and going to do.

Three months is “jamming it down our throats”?!?

Well of COURSE, you’re not going to ‘jam this down anybody’s throat’…you don’t give a sweet sht if they have health insurance or not. You just want to screw the people of the US, especially the middle class so your ‘buddies’ get their tax breaks.

They are cheats and liars…always were. When they were whining and sniveling about the ACA and the 1500 PAGES THAT THEY DIDN"T HAVE TIME TO READ we were all saying JHC I could have done that in a DAY!!!
