I loved it when Colbert introduced him as Melissa McCarthy.
This was wrong.
Airing Spicer with humor like this was foul by all parties. It seems to indicate that what he did was not so bad, you know… just a few thousand lies and a full on attack of the press for 6 plus months.
What Spicer did was an atrocity and an attack on the foundation of our democracy. Not exaggerating.
I like Stephen Cobert a lot. But in this case… very seriously… Fuck Spicer and anyone who thought this was a good idea…

I am so disappointed in Stephen Colbert. This was a cheap ploy, the object of which seems to be to normalize Sean Spicer’s despicable behavior. I thought Colbert was one of the few honest voices left in entertainment, but clearly I was wrong. This was absolutely contemptible.
On the plus side, this frees up some memory space in my DVR, since I won’t be recording Colbert anymore.

C’mon people. This is the crowd who lionizes Roman Polanski, Woody Allen and a multititude of other questionable characters.
I looked at Spicer’s joke being on Trump more than anything else. I can see why Conway refused to take it that way earlier today. Spicer’s first comical and easily refutable lie for DJT was about the crowd size at his inauguration. He went on national TV and made fun of Trump’s ego. I’ll bet the Donald was fuming. Then again, I’ve always been told I have a warped sense of humor and a different way of looking at things.
I don’t want this to be true, but I suspect it is.

Spicer’s 15 minutes are up. I think he should have used them more wisely.

Absolutely agree. It is like the entire nation is butt of joke. I find this despicably outrageous. The man should be shunned for the disgrace he brought to the office and foul demeaning behavior & repetitive lies he imposed on the WH press. This entire act, and the kiking & selfie adoration for him is abhorrent Folks declined doing the job because they had too much sel-respect to lie. Now Spicer is rewarded? Harvard appointment. Speaker circuit fees…wtf? smdh…I am appalled!!
