Is there an over/under for the date when he suddenly realizes that lying to the press means the White House lied to the public instead of just Sean Spicer or the Republican Party?
Gideon Rachmann, FT, London today
The man from the BBC was laughing as he reported the White House’s false claims about the size of the crowd at Donald Trump’s inauguration. He should have been crying. What we are witnessing is the destruction of the credibility of the American government.
Later, Spicer said that there were no Trump supporters in the first three rows.
Lacking a Venn Diagram or a pie chart I have difficulty believing Spicer. I guess the prop department has Mondays off.
Liar, liar pants on fire!
A more artful, intelligent answer would have been a few supporters came along. But oh no, now it’s none at all!
He’s an idiot for not telling even a 1/2 truth now.
If there were no Trump supporters in the first three rows, then who was Trump talking about when he said everyone there probably voted for him?
Honestly, it’s just amazing going from a group that at least tried to stick to the facts to one that says whatever they please, facts be dammed. The rest of the world is no longer going to follow the US lead, at least during Trump’s presidency…and once they learn to do that they won’t need to anymore.
Spicer said Trump’s entourage to CIA was 10
CBS reported Trump’s entourage to CIA was 40
Surely there’s some way to fact check this?
No, people run in and out of the CIA all day, no way !
Did they tell Spicer he was being recorded for eternity ?
You seem to be operating under the misapprehension that we are living in a two party democracy where there is separation between party and state rather than a one party dictatorship. Which, of course, many people think is still true, including most members of the press. But, I assure you that no such separation exists in the minds of anyone in the White House or among almost all Republican members of Congress.
They have the best gift shop of all the agencies, but you have to know someone to get you in.
Spicer Lies.
He feels demoralized
The CIA was a stone groove, they love us.
Sources say Trump’s CIA visit made relations with intel community worse
Authorities are also pushing back against the perception that the CIA workforce was cheering for the president. They say the first three rows in front of the president were largely made up of supporters of Mr. Trump’s campaign.
There is no rift, we don’t know where anyone got the idea there was a rift?

The pens with poison capsules are very good, I am told
He needs to work out his issues of feeling demoralized before he figures out the job.
I tend to believe him actually. Some of the few places Trump does not need to stack the deck are probably the FBI, CIA, any policeman or border guard organization, military, etc. These people are mostly deeply Republican because they love authoritarian thinking and power and they love Trump’s authoritarian messaging.
I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one of those little spook teddy bears but I’ve discounted the idea of smash & grab.
USPTO has a pretty good gift shop. Anyone can go right in.
CBS News cited unnamed U.S. government sources who claimed that the first three rows in the audience at Trump’s speech were filled in part with supporters, including about 40 people who were invited by Trump, Pence and Pompeo.
See, they gotta get their story straight vis a vis knowing what’s happening in real time.
Or they just don’t give a sh*t.
Had to google that one ( I live in Denmark), I guess that is all the rejected claims, they sell…
Is Trump aware of this? Sometimes I can’t tell if he’s a genius self promoter or jute people around him are stage managing. It’s clear to me he’s not presidenting, everyone around him is and he signs stuff and talks to people in meetings.
