If I remember correctly, Rosen was targeted because he solicited info from an official of a foreign government.
Does it really matter what he says?
āThe one question dealt with whether or not the tweet dealt with wiretaps during the thing,ā
You know, the thing.
"I just want to be really clear on one point, which is that I shouldnāt have said what I was just thinking out loud, and I want you to forget I said anything about the President being the target of an investigation, which he isnāt, and anyway you brought up the fact that heās under investigation, not me, and heās not under investigation even though I just said he was, and I should probably just stop talking now andāSQUIRREL!!
Of course, contrariwise, thereās no reason to believe that he isnāt.
Didnāt think of that now, did ya, Spicey
Thereās no reason that we have to think that the President is the target of any investigation whatsoever.ā
Except for the FISA warrants targeting his campaign.
And intercepts of their calls with Russians.
And reports by multiple foreign intelligence services.
And the Steele dossier.
But other than that, no reason whatsoever.
Nope. Spicer offers nothing but entertainment value at this point. Thereās no reason to believe a goddamn word he says.
Sean you blew it. If Trump was āwiretappedā he is most certainly under investigation. How could those possibly be two separate things? Pretty sure thatās not what he was supposed to say.
Related note: Iām wondering why there is so much ambiguity about whether or not there is a FISA warrant (on communications with the two Russian banks ). Louise Mensch but also the BBC and the Guardian have said there is and specify October 15th as the day it was granted. That sounds like pretty definite information and it seems unlikely the BBC in particular would report that with no basis. But, as far as I know, no American news organization has confirmed this.
My speculation is that the IC has pressured US news organizations not to report this information. Has anyone heard anything about this?
It is hard to keep your lies straight, Sean. Maybe try the truth for a change. Hohoho.
Oh, what a tangled web we weave. Especially with those stubby, short fingers involved!
Good article on the idiocy of the wiretapping claim.
Spicer is no Dana Perino, thatās for sure. The voice is there, but the rest needs work.
āTrump had accused former President Barack Obama over the weekend of personally ordering the wiretapping of Trump Tower.ā No. Trump accused President Obama of wiretapping HIM, The Donald. The fact that someone in Trump Tower could be wiretapped is separate. Trump does not OWN the Tower. Not everyone that lives there is an āassociateā. No. This is changing the narrative to save that orange skinned jerk. STOP IT.
No but I think youāve got it right.
There are 3 FBI investigations. I think one of them is being done by the criminal division and it probably was the first to get started and then the thing blossomed when the FBI spy hunters started an investigation. Iām not sure what the 3d one is.
Nor am I sure why Trump was so fucking stupid as to tweet that shit out. But he did
āThe one question dealt with whether or not the tweet dealt with wiretaps during the thing,ā Spicer added, referring to the 2016 election.
Is a thing by any other name still the same thing?
So you can tell a meltdown when there exists a default mode of non-meltdown. What should we call it when all you do is melt down?
Has he ever given any non-meltdown response?
āI just want to be really clear on one point, which is thereās no reason that we have to think that the President is the target of any investigation whatsoever,ā he said. "I think thatās a very important point to make.ā
āI wonder if Spicer is sporting an earpiece.ā
That, and āThe President has made it very clearā are pieces of crouton on the Spicey salad.
Years ago, my sister-in-law, who was visiting a nearby neighbor, could see through her front window that my 6 yr old nephew vacuuming the floor of her living room.
Figuring something was wrong, she called her house. My nephew answered. āPeter, what are you vacuuming?ā she asked.
āThe floor,ā Peter said.
Peter, at 6, was better at Spicerās job, than Spicer is now.
