Campaign Chair Paul Manafort Played A ‘Very Limited Role’

Yep, that’s why he was the Alternative Campaign Manager, so he could have an Alternative very limited role.

Manafort? Manafort?? I don’t recall anyone by that name…lol. Spicer is incompetent, I expect he will leave his job before the president* does. (For those who may be confused, I am following Charles Pierce’s example in titling the present occupant of the Oval Office. No footnote attached or intended.)

Breathtakingly obvious dissembling with no “shame-a-da-face.”

With Spicer, it’s a never ending parody of the Monty Python “Dead Parrot Sketch.” That is, a parody of a parody.

So limited that Manafort changed the RNC platform to say that the US would not help Ukraine if Russia invaded. Yep, not involved with the RNC at all. LOL.

Manafort was hired by the Trump children and Junior intervened in that brief Manafort n Lewandowski feud.

But don’t take my word for it, let’s ask ‘Nanny’ (Conway).

In Spicer’s defense, Manafort was limited by the fact that he was serving one fewer adversary than Flynn was.

They really DON’T care that Russia hacked the election, do they? All that crap about borders and sharia law and communism is just so much BS to scare the American people into thinking these yahoos are their saviors. Good lord. Isn’t it JUST about time for the ‘have you no shame’ moment?

A “campaign chairman” plays a limited role…in the campaign I assume? Like Bannon plays a limited role cuz he isn’t president…yet?

Yeah, that smoking gun down payment to Putin didn’t just magically materialize out of the blue, did it? People need to be put under oath and forced to describe what actually happened under the penalty of perjury.

Jesus…is he the canary in the coal mine or what? Every time he announces a new switch in spin, he reveals something new. Here, it’s “we’re starting to shit our pants about these allegations.” There is no other reason to start trying to distance themselves from Manafort while pushing him under the bus.

In this case there’s no need to capitalize either the office title or the shameful current occupant’s name. I am hoping for his unemployment to commence on or about Oct 1st.

It looks to me like the White House is in fire and nobody in the trump camp thinks to look for the extinguishers.
Manafort is the chosen sacrificial lamb in this case. Increasingly it’s got the feeling like the summer of 1974 when Nixon was ready to condemn anyone to save his ass. People got fired or resigned before he ultimately did to avoid impeachment and certain conviction.

Today on CNN the best the GOP has to offer in their defense is Rick Santorum… my god…

Oh for dog’s sake, Spicey, we know you’re terrified of Dear Leader screaming at you, but at some point you just have to give it up. Manafort was the campaign manager - campaign manager - and nobody cares what he did from minute to minute. Dear Leader gave him the title, so Dear Leader owns whatever he did in that position.

Your “Campaign Chair” played a “very limited role”?!?!?!?!

Notice also that now EVERY REPUBLICAN is only referring to Flynn as “GENERAL Flynn” in an attempt to shore up his support.

I give the Republican Rats about 1 week before they start to jump ship…there is an election in 2018 after all.

He was a “Late Campaign Chair” that was “Pining for the Russian Fiords”

Won’t ever happen.

Trump/Bannon/Spicer/Priebus HAVE NO SHAME.

Minor role conjures up image of volunteers stuffing mailers. So easy to confuse minor role with Campaign Manager.
