Doing crazy stuff outside of the usual protocol only makes you look like you are hiding something.

So let me get this straight-

The ‘Information’ came from a couple of White House hacks linked to a guy under suspicion of being a Russian dupe; and Trump* more or less ordered Nunes to halt the House Investigation.

Exactly why don’t we have a special prosecutor yet?

As far as I know, it is not yet known who in the White House operations gave clearance for Nunes to enter the grounds that night. Guesses would now center on one or both of the two White House individuals who it now appears gave Nunes the information he then raced to show to the President the next day (so in other words, White House officials gave Nunes info he then revealed to the White House…you just can’t make this stuff up.)

Of course still at question is whether the White House register of approved clearances will be released documenting the person(s) who welcomed Nunes, or whether the dog will eat that page. With the suspicion now focused on those two individuals, it would seem far less likely that the White House would be able to get away with claiming the information doesn’t exist, got lost, or was destroyed in a Trumpster fire.

Spicer added, unprompted, “We have no plans to assassinate, harm, or drug, any Democrats who come to the White House to view these materialsl. We would never hurt or threaten these vile Democratic enemies of the people who only want to view these materials to hurt President Trump.”

Remember that time when the White invited the Congressional committees up to the White House to talk things over with the witnesses?

Uh. I think when Congress tells you to bring the stuff to them, you either claim executive privilege or you get the stuff to them. They still don’t get the power relationship, do they?

Secret Service controls access. Anyone not wearing a legitimate WH staffer badge (including members of Congress) have to be WAVED in through an advance registration system. Someone with the ability to WAVE someone in has to send the info to the gate electronically. All of that is in a log. This will undoubtedly pull the Secret Service into the web as well.

No kidding. Donnie must think he is holding court at Trump palace or something. That is really unacceptable.

Any idea how many FOIA requests have been submitted for those records by now?

Wow am I confused. This seems like a sideshow or red herring. Is it important? Seems like the fact these people met at all should be grounds for nunes’ dismissal from the committee or arrest.
