Discussion for article #227486
Given the fact that Democrats are more popular than the President, much more popular than Republicans, and much, much more popular than the Republican Congress, the conventional wisdom that this is a good year for Republicans should be open to at least a little question.
President Cuomo?
Fageddaboutit.
No, no. Not Mitch. Although Maher has a point. Let’s just vote Republican’t and get it over with.
Yes, it would seem so, BUT…we have to get off our arses and vote
and see that all our like-minded friends also vote. That number
three reason is the real clincher.
Also, number 2 is a really big hurdle to get over. Did you know that
there are actually more voters registered as Democrats than GOP
in Florida, yet the GOP walks away with the prize each time.
The only way that happens is when Democrats don’t vote and with
GOP gerrymandering and voter suppression, especially in the form
of limiting early voting and absentee voting.
another scumbag is going to get reelected - new Yorkers are just as bad as illinoisians. however when you look at most officials in the republican party you do scratch your head
