Discussion for article #239202
Dude… you should have paced yourself.
Curious. I always thought Luntz and the tRump were made for each other. Both are completely full of shit.
Is Trump for real? Assuming he wins the nomination, his comments will not fly in the general election. Hilary and her campaign will shred him to pieces.
Truly. America will move on, and, as the primaries progress, nobody will be impressed by 7-word answers to questions about major policy challenges.
“That was done by a guy named Frank Luntz who is a real dunce frankly,”
I want to hear the rest of that limerick.
I’m trying to look at this from Fox’s point of view, which has been and always will be making money - its almost like they were TRYING to drive him out of the Party and towards a third-party run… and when you think about it, that makes sense.
Now hear me out: Trump has been a ratings boon for them. Fox’s bread-and-butter (the rowdy right-wing base) loves him. And finally, the kicker for me is simple: Fox has ALWAYS done better when they’re attacking a Democrat instead of defending a Republican. Probably worth mentioning that Murdoch’s sons are largely running the show now, and they’re generally thought of as apolitical or even liberal-leaning - but they’re also ALL about the money.
I might be wrong, but I’m not wrong on my principle point - Fox doesn’t give a lick about their politics or the GOP. It wouldn’t shock me if Trump was their candidate of choice, on whatever ballot he decides to run on.
TRUMP wiLL DIstroY the BIMBO slOB HITLARY and HER UGLy paNTsUITs.
“No if ands or buts, Luntz is a putz.”
Welll… I dunno about the primaries these days, but he’d die pretty quickly in the general election. I put the crazy demo of the GOP at about 50% of its total membership these days - I think if Trump can corner the crazy market he’s got a better shot than a lot of people would care to admit.
Trump is Exhibit A for how the biggest bullies are always the biggest crybabies when they think they’re being “picked on.”
Not raunchy enough, but I appreciate the effort.
The only crude word I can think of that rhymes with “Luntz” is “C…s” and I myself wouldn’t use that word.
You mean like The Donald level of raunch? No can do.
They did not think he was mean and bombastic before the debate? I thought that was supposedly his appeal. He spoke his mind or something…
Donald was asked if he would support the party if he were not the nominee. He stated he couldn’t promise that. It shows that his allegiance isn’t to the party, it’s to himself.
He was asked about the fact that he claimed to have proof about criminal acts. He refused to provide any proof and claimed someone told him he was right. He cannot provide verification for his claims.
He was asked if his general hostility towards women could negatively effect the outcome of the elections by negatively effecting women voters who last presidential election had a higher percentage of voters than male voters. He didn’t answer and made a hostile joke about a woman.
None of these questions are gotcha’s - they are reasonable if tough questions. Trump’s responses show that he is not presidential material. He would be a diplomatic nightmare, unable to work with either the legislature or the judiciary, alienating foreign allies, starting unnecessary diplomatic incidents and potentially causing harm to our troops. Our troops shouldn’t have to die because of DT’s mouth.
His response to ordinary citizens’ reactions to his behavior reminds me of a quote from Harry Truman, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.” The American voter is NOT your employee - you are asking to be theirs.
Welcome to politics, Donnie…
It’s like religious sects - the ones that are most full of the same kind of shit hate each other more than those that they’re ideologically opposed to.
Punts, like in football also rhymes but your word goes better with Luntz.
