Yeah, the dearth of news is not a good sign. Vid showed it on its way down and cut out and they cut away. Nothing on Musk’s Twitter feed either, which is where the first news will probably happen.
But given that he was predicting a 50-50 chance the whole thing would just blow the hell up, and most launches expend all the stages, it’s still an “A.” He just didn’t get the plus. Unless they’re just teasing us or they genuinely don’t know what happened because they lost contact with the barge.

I like the notion of a Tesla Roadster orbiting the Sun. Better watch out for the traffic up there, however.

If trump wants to call himself a genius let him try to launch a rocket like the Falcon Heavy and have the boosters land simultaneously back at the starting point.

That was my guess but I didn’t wanna say it.
I’ve been attempting to use 4 letter words only in association with the “current occupant”. There was a time I never used them in public discourse but trump has ruined all that and now there’s every reason to use them when posting about him. A good day will be one in which trump is dragged out of the White house in cuffs and bundled into a cop van for a trip to jail.
But back to the subject at hand. As I posted elsewhere this is for Mr Musk for pulling off this epic launch

For press releases and such, they’ll say it stands for “Big Falcon Rocket.” But the conventional wisdom is that everyone in Spacex knows it stands for “Big Fucking Rocket.”
