It doesn’t matter what these assholes believe, the fact is that they have occupied Federal Government property illegally.

The FBI should move in, give them 3 hours to surrender for arrest, or face forcible removal. If they resist, kill them,

Hijacked by? Have always been branches of the same poisonous tree.

Both these “experts” are apparently completely ignorant of what the Bundy clowns espouse.

Here’s Cliven himself:

“I believe this is a sovereign state of Nevada… I abide by all of Nevada state laws. But I don’t recognize the United States government as even existing.”

When you’re denying the very existence of the United States government, there’s no meaningful daylight between you and the sovereign citizens loons.

Let all the extremists gather in one place, then drop a massive bomb on them.

Forest for the trees. The importance of the event is that it can be (and will be, already has been) mythologized as a major historical success for rightist paramilitary groups, who continue to build up their forces while holding federal property. Which makes it a success, no matter what happens next.

It appears that law enforcement officials have not even obtained warrants at this point, two weeks in. What is this all about? To have the rule of law, the law must rule.

I’m getting tired of these knuckleheads. If it ends it, I’d be OK with turning the land over to the original owners, as long as these nuts took their place on the reservations.

“Sovereign Citizen” is a nice way to spell “anarchist”. Throw a fantasy court into the mix and you get “psychotic anarchists.”

For a while there, I would’ve thought the standoff had been hijacked by CNN. This is the first photo I’ve seen all week that didn’t contain 3 microphones per squatter.

This is a movement that believes in oppression by force.

We might be on the brink of a natural experiment what would happen if the government actually did just wash its hands of the BLM. Guys start bickering amongst themselves, and pretty soon it escalates into a gang war with a different set of symbols.

We can no longer depend on federal law enforcement to do their job. The FBI and HS turn out to be full of cowards and idiots, very much the same as the cowboy terrorists. The best outcome is for each side to shoot it out so we can watch a great thriller live, I hope live anyhow. That’s how you get great TV entertainment. All the networks are there, I’m sure. Anyhow, the FBI and HS have to disband. They are sucking down our tax dollars with nothing to show for it except fatter wallets. This is the same FBI run by Mr. Comey who has made up over 29 false flag terrorists with entrapment. One study shows that only 1 of 30 so-called “terrorists” was possibly legitimately branded such. That is the FBI: false flag attacks to bolster their public image, rationalize their “fight” against terrorism, and increase their budgets / wallets. So, who do we depend on now to protect We The People from domestic terrorists? Ourselves? No wonder folks are arming themselves to the teeth. It really is “every man for himself” out there now.

Along with twangy music and nasally lyrics.

Can you imagine all the Country and Western songs being composed right now. Where is Johnny Cash when we need him? Willie Nelson would be on the side of We The People, maybe even Johnny Cash. We need a cowboy rabble rouser singer now to memorialize the victory in Oregon.

I thought this was taking place in Oregon? What does the ““Idaho lawmakers on a ‘fact-finding mission,’ uninvited militiamen from the Patriot movement who wanted to form a perimeter at the compound and individuals from Veterans on Patrol whose stated mission was to remove an occupier they deemed dangerous.”” have to do with it?
Maybe the ‘occupiers’ should have to spend some time in Guantanamo to help them clear their heads.

Gee, ideological opportunists taking advantage of ideological opportunists? Who would have thought? So far the ridicule heaped on the Bundy crew has been appropriate. Giving this new bunch a national forum is what they’re looking for - ridicule is what they deserve.
