Sony Lawyer: Since the FBI is in the executive branch of the govt, I think the Pres has this covered if you’re praising the FBI. Are you talking about Congress? Perhaps you need a civics lesson.
And the CEO didn’t take the interview? Any particular reason why?
I cannot imagine actually sitting though this movie. But I might buy a copy on Blue-Ray, just on principle.
Oh, hold on, wait! Is Sony trying to set up the taxpayers to pay for their info security? So far, I’m not impressed, Olivia.
Lets you and him fight!
Before any of this happened I was forced to sit through a trailer for this piece of crap. Actually my date and I just turned to face each other and talked about something else for the duration. I might buy one and throw it away as I leave the store.
A NYT writer saw it, reviewed it, and he’s baffled as to
how something this ordinary could have caused so much agitation
Call me crazy, but I can live without ever seeing Seth Rogen hiding the business end of a missile up his rectum.
The DPRK saying the US gov’t is behind the making of “The Interview”. That’s total bullpoop and it shows that bthe DPRK is clueless as to how this country works. And if they think they can threaten us with cyber war then I think they should ask the Iranians as to if we are effective or not at shutting off uranium purification centrifuges.
David Boies doesn’t need any civics lessons; he’s argued before the Supremes on numerous occasions, with few setbacks. Most notably Bush v Gore, when he (along with us) got fucked.
See what I don’t understand is how anyone thinks the North Koreans have any kind of terror infrastructure in the US capable of pulling off one attack, much less multiple simultaneous ones.
Now, the one I’d be worried about is Randall Park (?) who played Kimmie Jong Uno in the movie.
I will be looking for it’s debut via ViewMaster reels in 2015.
“…It will be distributed…”
Legally speaking.
I’m gonna go to the movies just 'ciz some butthead in N. Koreas says I should not. They are bluffing when they threaten us. They are acting like an insecure school yard bully who ain’t got nuthin’.
DPRK…put up or shut up!
My experience with people who are native Asian language speakers is that they are sometimes clueless to how our senses of humor, sarcasm and satire work as well. And western concepts in Psychology. I don’t mean to be disparaging, I’m just noting that we have a major communication problem, like laughing in the wrong place for unknown reasons. God only knows what they think of us and why. I know this all sounds like stereotyping, but I create content and can’t ignore it.
FBI is in the Executive Branch? They are DOJ (Judicial Branch).
Oh I agree that our separate peoples run on wildly different assumptions. I think you are quite accurate in your assessment. And I don’t think you were disparaging in the least.
Yeah! They should team up with Apple and just distribute it for free and unasked-for with every new download or update of the newest iOS!
I dunno…sounds pretty freekin hilarious to me haha (and that NYT writer sounds like an uptight twit).
This was obvious from the beginning. SONY is not stupid, they saw an opportunity and are running with it. Movie looks mediocre at best, teenage appeal perhaps. Now they can postpone release until after the Holidays and New Year when things are slower, plus the movie gets free promotion in all the media. Smart move, they exploited the situation.
What you call uptight is a writer displaying sensibility. But chances are you won’t laugh alone when Rogen shovels a missile up his ass.
