I feel a very similar way as I do with the family separation/baby jails debacle: there’s no way to finesse what happened at the “Surrender Summit.” There just isn’t. It’s one of those situations that speaks for itself. Feral trumpers will most certainly not see it but they’re a lost cause anyways so I’m not really counting them in that part of the population that can be considered sane and reachable. And the fact that this is ALL happening before the midterms?

I fully understand that many do not follow the news intently, and do not look much except at a few this and that things, may be even just the headlines, and some even politically involved. Such people showing up late to the party are going to be surprised at how out of control it is.
He joined the Republicans after he decided that Democrats had moved to far to the left? No shit? I suppose Fox News told him that. I would really love to see the legislation produced by this swing to the left.
Meanwhile, Rep. Markwayne Mullin of OK, interviewed on “Hear and Now,” just blasted the AP reporter (Jon Lemire) for asking Trump an outrageous “gotcha question” on foreign soil and basically insinuated there was some kind of conspiracy by saying he was sure the question was cooked up behind closed doors.
