Ah yes, the Lying Duplicitous Best!
And you’ll love this as well - just when you think the Clinton’s can’t piss you off anymore than they already have! And it’s sooooo Clinton(easily deniable)!

PlumBerry Oat Cobbler
Servings: 20
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups quick-cooking oats
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
PlumBerry Filling
Ingredients:
2 cups canned Stapleton’s Pitted Plums in Pear Juice, pureed
1 1/2 cups frozen wild blueberries (the small size allows you to dot the top evenly and adds color)
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 pan.
In large mixer bowl cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt.
Gradually add to creamed mixture.
Reserve ½ the dough. Press the remainder evenly over bottom of pan.
Spread plums over oatmeal mixture in pan.
Dot top with blueberries.
Crumble reserved oatmeal mixture over plumberry filling.
Bake 25 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Nice try. ‘Cobbler’ doesn’t even sound like food. Prefer White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Ice Cream.
What does Hillary have to say?

Um, Darcy, you do realize you’re responding to a comedy sketch?
YES Randy, I do realize it is a comedy sketch. I watched it and found it oh so funny … and true.
Didn’t you?
SNL isn’t doing positive on any candidate. They pick a quirk and exploit it and they’ve done Bernie so this is balance I guess?
Mrs. Clinton will own New York no matter and then the sketch will be how funny her victory speech will be. That’s counter balance.
Yeah, so not funny. Didn’t laugh once.
This is the type of SNL skit I can safely say has turned the show so often into such a downhill mess these many years…mean-spirited and politically off-putting. As satire, its a caricature alright, but its so not Hillary, just pure sneering and derision.
Seems to me the only point of the skit was to highlight the card swipe thing that the news folks have made so much of this last week. I know of so many people including myself, that swipe a credit card, new or otherwise, several times (similar to a strip on a subway card) because the card reader doesn’t pick it up. I really don’t understand why that was such a big deal this week. The whole thing was just lame.
Shady Hill’s favorite ice cream is Iraqi Road.
“We cool, we cool.”
Where’s the funny? You don’t want to get Samuel L. Jackson pissed off with this stuff.
@TURK182 You joined 14 minutes ago to lay this on us? Traffic too high at Daily Caller?
@centristdem Any way you slice it it sounds like a recipe for success. ![]()
Wow. Joined 5 minutes ago just to post that shit? Have you tried RedState or Drudge? Pathetic.
Yes, I found it funny enough.
I felt the same about Larry David’s impersonation of Bernie Sanders.
You know littlegirl I just watched Hateful Eight the other night (RedBox). Liked it a lot, all three hours. Uneven in many ways but classic Tarantino with great dialogue. And lots and lots of blood. Worth seeing.
Edit to add: See The Gift. A bit different just when it appears to be obvious.
By the way, TPM user Darcy,
In your first comment, you used the term b---- to describe Secretary Clinton. This is the equivalent to using the n-word for an African American.
This story is now receding from view.
Next time you use this term or any similar disparaging term towards women, I will call you out. It will be more than a recipe. Make no mistake.
Update: TPM User Darcy has since edited his b---- reference to Best. Please note that this had to be brought to his attention. It never dawned on him. Shameful.
I had MSNBC on when swipe-gate became a thing. I think it was Kate Snow, and she had two female guests on. All three of them said exactly what you did … happens all the time, and had happened to them. Then they moved on.
If folks were going to cover it, that was the treatment it deserved.
You’d have no way of knowing but with the exception of Pulp Fiction, I don’t watch Tarantino’s films any longer. And at three hours I’d be snoozing at about the two-hour mark anyway. But I’ve been considering The Gift.
It must come as something new to some that because Hillary Clinton is a former First Lady she has had a Secret Service detail for years. Riding the subway is probably not the easiest thing to do with that kind of detail in tow. In fact she has had SS protection prior to Barack Obama, when she ran for President the first time. The concept of easily getting around must come as something of a blessing and a curse for her because of this fact. That’s not on her…that’s the way we as a country provide protection for our former 1st families it seems to me.
It was funny. You’re probably just too close to it all right now. Hurts a bit when comedy picks at her perceived weaknesses.
