Discussion: Smoking Gun Memo Could Bolster Voting Rights Case Against North Carolina

We don’t need this memo to know NC’s intent. Good judges are needed to laugh this nonsense out of court. Another reason to vote Democratic.

Mr Woodhouse… your emails and blibbering gibberish is why your state should still be subject to pre-clearence under the Voting Rights Act. Because… you think rights are only for republicans.

Woodhouse is a total idiot! Nothing like telegraphing your intent to the court. He shoulda’ just e-mailed the judges directly. Whatta maroon!

[qu“ Republicans will keep fighting for our positions to preserve the integrity of the voting process so everyone’s vote is properly counted, and any other positions we deem fit— because the Democrats haven’t made it a crime to be Republican— YET.”

But with his help… it just might be a crime soon!

The dog whistle has turned into an alarm siren.

How lovely that they shoot themselves in foot by such a blatant admission that it’s rigged.

Please proceed, NC GOP.

Will McCrory intervene? No way. He’s as racist as Woodhouse.

The whole state should be in jail with McCrory leading the perp walk.

all of this ‘work around’ didn’t work very well when the Courts ruled for gay marriage…

ask Roy Moore in Alabama how well it’s working out for him…

Not listed or discussed was a change that prevented college students from even voting. Most come back to school in late August. The election is in November. The GOP changed the law that they had to be on the state for 90 days to be able to vote, this was in direct vioklation of established law on this question. The law passed contained a panorama of changes targering Democratic voters. The question now is what happens on election day when rhe Republicans refuse to open all sights on time. The damage will be done. Federal marshalls need to monitor the polls to insure compliance with the law. Lawbreakers should be jailed.

Yes, NC always throws in every piece of legislation real nonsense, like the bathroom bill.

NC is the new South Carolina.

…and your evidence of voter fraud is what?

I think the letter you just sent out will suffice in this case.

It’s time to use Section 2 of the 14th Amendment on North Carolina and remove a couple Republicans from the State’s Congressional delegation as a fitting punishment starting with that old witch Virginia Foxx!

But (Dallas) Woodhouse has defended his memo in a statement that said, “ Republicans will keep fighting for our positions to preserve the integrity of the voting process so everyone’s vote is properly counted, and any other positions we deem fit— because the Democrats haven’t made it a crime to be Republican— YET.”

See Mom? It ain’t Brad pulling the sh^t.

Well, the Republicans have been doing everything they can to make the Democratic party damn near illegal, so it doesn’t surprise me that they project their actions onto their political opponents.
