Discussion: Slate Editor Takes Off For New York Times Magainze

Discussion for article #227126

Oh noes! Political Gab Fest will never be the same without her. Hope she continues with it. She was a voice of reason next to David, who I often disagree with.

I hope she doesn’t have to share a cubicle with Maureen Dowdy.

There’s a new CEO of the Washington Post company also. Slate is about to see a top to bottom remodel.

Cutting Bazelon and Weigel loose seems more akin to razing, than remodeling.

And Slate’s podcasting ventures (Gabfest and the recently minted WeigelCast), are clearly being abandoned.

Sad.

She is more balanced and less snarky over content than Dahlia Lithwick. Can she just replace Dowd as a columnist too?
