Discussion: Simona Mangiante Papadopolous: I Understand Why I Was A 'Red Flag' To Mueller

She seems nice.

Is there a better way to keep track of what he is telling Mueller than to plant a wife on him?

Hmmm…the red dress and dyed blond hair look soooo familiar. She’s gunning for a Faux news bimbo position!

It appears that she is striving for some movie/book deal, and trying to stir things up, at the expense of what’s left of her husband’s reputation.

George, have you ever wondered why this woman, who is several stratospheres out of your league, would even spit on you if you were on fire? You’re a neo-maxi-zoom-dweebie, George.

"… it’s a cover-up for spy jobs. "

Well, that helps.

She always struck me as a publicity hound. Why else even bother with all this “They were right to be suspicious as hell of him because of me” talk now?

Ah, Simona, your 15 minutes in the spotlight is over.

The enduring mystery, to me at least, is why people like this (both of them) keep making public statements, sitting down for TV interviews, and so on. Papadopoulos just dodged a major bullet, and he should be very thankful. He’ll spend a couple of weeks in the pokey, and then, if he’s lucky, he can vanish into the crowd.

What do they think is to be gained by continuing to dance around in the spotlight? Do they think that this is going to lead to lucrative business opportunities? Do they actually think that they can turn their relatively minor roles into book and movie deals? I just don’t get it.

He got his 15 minutes in jail. Can he go away now?

It takes guts to wear a red dress and bright red lipstick and go on TV to earnestly address rumors that you’re a Russian spy.

And the missing professor? The one described as possibly no longer living? Didn’t she work for him, and isn’t this how she and Papadopo met?

Ya, I too can understand why Mueller et. al. saw a ‘Red Flag.’

Nothing tamps down suspicions like going on television to say they’re understandable!

In another interview he told Jake Tapper that after this unpleasantness is over he wants to “give back” to his country–by running for CONGRESS!
