I just don’t understand why one needs to take a gun to a frickin’ movie theater. So you can start a shootout and be a “big hero” if some other wacko starts shooting?

They’ve only had open-carry in Texas for weeks, so probably wouldn’t be a Texan.
Just a single one of these numskull events is good reason to ban guns completely.
Guns are not a positive. They are tools for killing people.
Carrying a gun to a demonstration to intimidate people makes you a terrorist, not a freedom fighter.
Collecting guns to enable an armed insurrection against the government is treason, not the act of a patriot.
Fortunately, the current explosion of gun fetishism is the byproduct of a small and dwindling band of folk who are enraged by the fact that white males are no longer in sole control of the US. They lost their separate drinking fountains, they lost prayer in schools and now their guns are the only thing they have left to remind them of the position they once occupied.
Well soon the Fox News generation will be dead and buried.
