Discussion: Sheriff: 'Multiple Fatalities' In Shooting In Orlando Industrial Area

[Sheriff] Dimwit lives in some fantasyland, me thinks!

He SHOULD have shot himself first…saved everyone a lot of heartache.

A hostile and combative employee who gets fired, and then comes to the workplace and targets specific people he did not like is called workplace violence, not terrorism. And that is regardless of the persons gender, race, or religion. This is a blatant case of workplace violence, that’s not even debatable.

And don’t start with the “he terrified people” nonsense, because you then can classify any murder, robbery, rape, etc., as “terrorism”.

Classifying crimes properly is very important for resource allocation, etc. Workplace violence. Period.

You imply that teorrism can only be defined politically. I disagree. Jut because this man wasn’t terrorizing his coworkers for a cause other the his own rage doesn’t diminish the fact that he has and will probably will inspire others to act out their own impotent hatred on their targets of blame. Compartmentalize for your own assurance that resources will be properly allocated…we need people like you to do that, I suppose.

I am not implying that, it is a fact. There is in fact a legal definition for terrorism.

Exactly. Workplace violence and its’ causes needs to be addressed, and resources allocated accordingly. I never said it did not.

Just like resources and tactics used to combat bullying and rape (where victims can be “terrorized” for sure) are different than the resources and tactics to fight terrorism. Keep in mind that part of the resource allocation is used for prevention (educating people, treatment, etc.). Different types of crimes require different things.

You may be right.
