Discussion for article #242205
Silly Sheriff, laws don’t apply to the GOP. Just ask them and they will tell you that.
Louisiana law–“It’s different here!”
Funny thing is, that’s true! Because of Napoleonic Code, you will constantly find an asterisks indicating “except Louisiana” .
“…running through people’s backyards…”
In Louisiana? He’s lucky he’s still alive.
Vittter would be the worst LA Governor in history? Sounds like a challenge.
“Challenge accepted!”
One of those footnotes oughta’ read:
You’ve been forewarned; don’t screw with cops in Louisiana.
Having spent alot of time there for athletic tourneys and Mardi Gras jaunts?
Really. Just don’t.

damm has he already forgotten about pyush booby jackass Jindal…he has a high mark to get that low down…
Louisiana politics at its finest. Brings back the days of Huey Long.
For those of you that aren’t familiar with the “Napoleonic Code”:
I LOVE that movie. Vivian Leigh especially
Absolutely, one of my favorites. All the leads are fantastic.
But it is somewhat heartbreaking to watch, knowing the mental illness (and physical illness) that plagued Vivien Leigh throughout her life.
I also like this take on “Streetcar”:
Well, at least we know why Vitter keeps getting re-elected in spite of his sex scandal. His sleaziness appeals to the LA zeitgeist.
He went on to say in the interview that he believed Vitter "would be the worst governor in the history of the state of Louisiana.”
… And that is saying something.
I’m eagerly awaiting the VItter opposition to start throwing diapers at Vitter’s campaign rallies.
This incident probably will help Vitter in the election. Louisiana is a tea party state, and tea party voters love craziness and buffoonery.
Conservative on conservative violence … pass me the fried-chicken bucked sized popcorn and the bladder-buster sized soda!!
Looks like Vitter’s getting pissed off. That’s a change – he’s usually pissed on.
Thanks, and remember to tip your bartender!
I was just thinking that Louisiana wasn’t different. It is just a fractal version of what’s going on in the national GOP race.
