Discussion: Shep Smith Chews Out Anti-Vaxxers: 'You're Science Deniers! That's It!'

Discussion for article #232767

They’re just living the controversy you’ve wanted schools to teach. You have been saying that
for YEARS.

I agree with his comments, but I can’t believe this guy survives on the FOX network. Why do they keep him, and, more importantly, why does he stay?

Everybody’s got a Token.

And he stays because of the money.

“I know a lot about science denial, I work at Fox.”

They keep him and a couple of others around so that they can say “we’re a real news channel, just look at this guy.” It gives him some added freedom that he might not get somewhere that he isn’t supposed to be a one-ton counterweight

Well Dipshits, it’s time to step to the plate and vaccinate your children. When a Faux news reporter tells you you’re stupid, your beliefs have no legs to stand on. Make the appointment. Give the kiddies a lollypop to take the sting away and go hide your ignorant faces in shame.

Well Shep every now and then you seem as if you’ve reached that “STRAW”.

Fox just believes in giving their viewers a choice. Are you going to listen to Shep, or are you going to listen to the little Tucker? Fox: we report, you decide = freedom.

Fox finally has an anti-science issue that skews left. Thew are going to milk THE HELL out of this to counter their own science denial on climate change. They just got their “balance” for science reporting.

Shep “The Alien” Smith could make this a weekly special;

Sen: Inhofe: You’re a science denier! That’s it!
Sarah Palin: You’re a science denier! That’s it!
Rand Paul: You’re a science denier! That’s it!
Rush Limbaugh: You’re a science denier! That’s it!
Glenn Beck: You’re a science denier! That’s it!
Michele Bachmann: You’re a science denier! That’s it!

Chris Christie: You’re just trolling for votes! That’s it!

R-A-T-I-N-G-S. If he goes somewhere else, those ratings go with him.

As to why he stays, big bucks for one, plus maybe he likes getting his message to the FOX audience instead of preaching to the choir. Things like that can get the other side thinking, and even if he converts only 5% of them, that can have a big influence on elections.
