Discussion: Sharyl Attkisson Releases Cell Phone Footage Of Alleged Hacking (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #229576

Any hacker software that allows the user to see their files disappear on screen in real time is not very sophisticated.

Hoax. Some asshole off screen could’ve been sitting there with a bluetooth keyboard doing it all.

And if what she says is true, then what kind of fucking idiot fails to turn it off and take out the battery to stop the deletions? Clearly, it was more important to her to have a video of her ā€œpossessedā€ computer than it was to save the data.

Computer stalls performing an operation - user mashes keys for several minutes trying to make it respond - operation completes and all those keystrokes are executed.

Hilarious. Funny how the mysterious ā€œclicksā€ seem to correspond to menus appearing. And a slightly wonky keyboard will do things like that - a slightly sticky DEL key can be lots of fun.

I can’t wait for Don Allison to give his official opinion, preferably under oath.

Oh I am not touching it, but TAP, and things disappear, and on to the next screen and TAP and things disappear. FYI idiot, you should have thought about turning off the sound while recording, because my computer sure as hell does not make tapping sounds if I am not touching it. You claimed on Fux that pages disappeared in an instant, however that stupid video, along with the tapping sounds, shows that it is being deleted one letter at a time. God you are a total lunatic, and all you want is to sell your lunatic book.

She’s very calm considering the tyranny and oppression being visited upon her. If it was real, you’d expect a normal person to be freaking out.

If this were the government they’d just smoke her hard drive.

And what would be the point of this kind of deleting, unless she hadn’t saved her file for a long time?

Snowden. No doubt about it.

Any sophisticated hacker software can delete an entire file in seconds, not one letter at a time one page at a time, but then she is a stupid woman, trying to convince stupid people who are not computer savvy, that the government is out to get her.

Yes, you would at least expect one or two WTF’s, but all you hear is a suspicious and methodical tap on some computer key over and over again, and she had that trusty cell all ready to video the very slow deletion of pages. I think a 15 year old computer wiz could see this and call total bull.

Sounds like a fun date…

So…is she going to get around and tell us what this undeniable link to the government is? I mean, if it’s undeniable, then she should have all the proof she needs. Or…more likely, the computer expert was telling her what she wanted to hear to justify his expensive hourly rates.

And the real crime here: Vertical video. Jesus Christ, you’re in TV broadcasting lady. How do you not even know how to properly record video on a cell phone?

I think she had one too many to drinks that night. Michael Buble’…come on now.

She’s faking this, too!

Key point here is she was listening to Michael Buble–by choice? She must be crazy

ā€œI’m not touching it,ā€ Attkisson could be heard saying in the video while Michael Buble’s song ā€œSome Kind of Wonderfulā€ played in the background.

That’s actually ā€˜Dancing with the Stars’ playing in the background. This particular episode first aired live on September 16, 2013. It’s the season premiere episode of season 17. This particular segment is contestant Valerie Harper and her partner dancing the Foxtrot to ā€œSome Kind of Wonderful.ā€

Attkisson has previously said her computer was hacked in October of 2012. She came forward with these allegations in May of 2013.

So I suppose Attkisson first noticed her computer was hacked in October 2012, announced it in May 2013, but then waited until September 2013 to actually take video evidence. Makes sense to me…
