Consent decrees only handcuff the rogue cops who need handcuffing, Dixie Pixie…

Oh, yes, we have a lunatic running the asylum from the Oval Office, so an unfettered police force is just what we need now.

Yessirree-bob.

Sadly, some police need to be handcuffed. More sadly, there is little chance of them being prosecuted and jailed, even when they break the criminal laws.

This man has no business being Attorney General. But then again, look at who is President.

I guess Sessions missed the part about ā€œPublic SERVANTSā€ during all of his ā€˜service’.

The Police are there by the will of the citizens, to help protect citizens.

If it’s us-vs-them, then this all ends in a bloodbath, where every citizen would rightfully need to be armed and prepared to defend themselves against the people who are supposed to protect them.

Of COURSE we need reasonable restraint on the part of the police, in order that they fulfill their mission of keeping us safe.

The only handcuffs you should be concerned with, you little weasel, are the ones you will be soon wearing.

Bull Connor would be so proud that Sessions is unleashing the dogs back on minority communities everywhere.

It turns out the Ferguson police department was using the municipal court to collect extra revenue from the black community. In that case the consent decree stopped a corrupt institution. I guess no more.

Oh well, I’m sure Hillary’s AG would have done this too.

This in spite of the fact that most forces under consent decrees have experienced improved community relations. But I can see Sessions point. Not being able to verbally abuse as suspect with racial epithets and the unnecessary use of force really put officers armed with tasers and handguns at a huge disadvantage.

He has rapidly risen to the top of the list for worst AG.

ā€œ[T]oo much focus has been placed on a small number of police who are bad actors rather than on criminals.ā€

That ā€œsmall number of police who are bad actorsā€ are criminals.

Shooting a man in the back…

Planting a gun on a corpse…

Choke-holding an unarmed man to the ground until he dies while be begs for breath…

Severing the spine of a handcuffed man in the back of a police van…

Those are all CRIMINAL acts.

To anyone but a man so racist that even Dr. King’s widow felt an urgent need to warn the nation about him.

Sessions has depicted the agreements, which often came in the wake of high-profile cases of people being killed by police, as part of a larger wave of unjustified scrutiny of law enforcement.

Ok, I’ll bite. What would justify scrutiny of law enforcement? I’m guessing his answer is nothing.

I first heard this when I was about 5 years old. And let’s not forget ā€œpaddy wagon justiceā€ either.
Yes, bring back the good ol’ days. La plus ca meme, la meme chose. Er sumthin’ like that.

Sessions is racist scum and a russian stooge. He’s also dumber than a box of really stupid rocks (or pretending to be). Because oversight that reduces the number of unjustified police beatings of civilians and reduces the number of viral videos of police murdering citizens in cold blood will make police officers (as well as everyone else) safer.

Sessions is objectively in favor of more dead police officers.

Anything where the victim in the list posted by @irasdad was a white male and the police officer wasn’t.

Time for a remake of Watermelon Man.

A white, racist Attorney General wakes up one morning with ebony black skin. Hilarious hijinks ensue.

Everything Sessions says telegraphs that it should be ā€œopen seasonā€ on minorities by police. If you want hundreds of examples of police brutality, criminality and other misconduct, just go to YouTube and search for ā€œfirst amendment auditā€. The police (and other LEO orgs) are totally out of control in this country and they think nothing of grossly violating citizen rights whenever they want. DAs are complicit in the corrupt system. Only if citizen panels can be established and given the right to refer cases directly to grand juries will police criminality be checked somewhat. Jeff Sessions has no business being AG. He’s a corrupt troll with deeply racist views.

Militarizing the police as the proliferation and de-regulation of firearms runs wild. The GOPs answer to silencing opposition/minority voters…

oh good lord. Bonding only happens at Mar-a-Lago, cops should be able to do anything they want and we should just shut up, pot is a gateway drug, women shouldn’t be able to get healthcare where they want and tax reform is too damn hard. And this is just the FIRST ā€˜one hundred days’…

We will also do away with body cameras, dash-cams, witnesses (use your imagination), the collection of any incident data, and any and all legal restraints so as to free the police to exercise full, unfettered, aggressive, excessive force tactics on anyone they choose (and y’all know how them choices is made).
