Discussion: Sessions To Testify Before Senate Intel Panel In Public

It is important that Mr. Sessions be able to lie directly to the public. That way Trump and his supporters at Fox & Friends can proclaim, once again, complete and total vindication!

So what does this monument to slavery have planned here? I gotta think if he’s insisting for an open hearing, they’ve figured out some way to push back on the Russia stuff.

C’mon Ms. Harris, hit him hard. And if Burr tries to muzzle you again, hit him hard too. This weasel deserves something other than soft balls.

Question 1: How many times did you meet with, talk with or otherwise interact with any Russian officials in any capacity during the Presidential campaign?

Question 2: Why is there a discrepancy between that number and what you submitted as part of your security clearance application?

Question 3: Why is there a discrepancy between the number you cite now and what you testified to (under oath) in your confirmation hearing?

Question 4: When you were asked to step out of the room on February 14 so that the President could meet with FBI Director Comey one-on-one, did you know what the substance of that meeting would be?

Question 5: How involved were you in the decision-making process for firing the FBI director?

You give them too much credit. Remember, they’re only speaking to 35% or so of the voting public. The rest of us are just “fake people.”

This is going to be very interesting. I am really hoping that Democrats have some kind of “gotcha” set up so they can catch him committing perjury on the spot.

I will believe this at the moment that I see it. If he does, in fact, testify, we may rest assured that there will be a lot of "i don’t recalls, or I can’t answer due to an ongoing investigations, or I refuse to answer on the grounds that it might tend to incriminate me, etc., etc.

Question 1: How many times did you meet with, talk with or otherwise interact with any Russian officials in any capacity during the Presidential campaign?

Answer: Way too many to recall the exact number.

Question 2: Why is there a discrepancy between that number and what you submitted as part of your security clearance application?

Answer: I will file another correction if needed. You can assume that I represent Russian interests.

Question 3: Why is there a discrepancy between the number you cite now and what you testified to (under oath) in your confirmation hearing?

Answer: See my answer to 2 above. I am practically a Russian.

Question 4: When you were asked to step out of the room on February 14 so that the President could meet with FBI Director Comey one-on-one, did you know what the substance of that meeting would be?

Answer: I knew it because Sir Trump told me. We had to make Comey “Loyal”.

Question 5: How involved were you in the decision-making process for firing the FBI director?

Answer: I had him fired. He was becoming a nuisance.

I’m sure there will be a lot of “I can’t answer in public due to the ongoing investigation (which I know nothing about because I’m recused from the whole Russia investigation thing, because, you know, of the lying thing in my confirmation hearing).” But he won’t take the Fifth. No AG can get away with taking the Fifth and keep his/her job, even with these Rs.

Why did you meet with a Russian officials at the RNC?

How can you reconcile that with the claim that you were at the convention meeting with Russian agents with it not being in the service of the Trump?
