Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III is all about States Rights until he doesn’t like something the locals do.
Shorter Sessions: Federal laws simply Trump State Rights when a Republican is in charge. White Majority must be treated with respect.
The party of small government.
Their focus is not about crime in Chicago, they couldn’t care less.
Its about exerting control over Obama’s home town.
More racist code from the GOP… just like they use the term “community organizer”
Yosemite Beauregard Sessions indeed
The rootinest tootinest t tough guy AG that ever was
Jefferson BoRegard is the last person to accuse others of “obstructing” anything in the legal sector
I believe that Sessions now falls into “community organizer” description, he wants all communities to organize themselves into undocumented round up gangs.
DOJ is an alt-fact sanctuary. Inaccurate perceptions of the immigrant population --both documented and undocumented-- are sheltered and protected from the light of actual studies and data.
Sounds like Sessions is afraid he’ll lose against the Chicago lawsuit.
It is about tribalism and domination - Since the election, this battle is about the sparsely populated, sprawling white, non-urban tribes desire to dominate the highly populated diversified urban ones that have more wealth.
Sessions is speaking to his constituency of one. I bet the boss is beaming over the success of his public bashing of his underling. Otherwise this tirade is pointless and isn’t going to help him in court. If anything it is likely to hurt them.
“Cracker” Smurf.
When has anyone in this administration realized that the judges look at public statements as well as legal filings?
There’s also no indication that any of the violence in Chicago involves illegals or even very many Hispanics.
Sessions is giving people who want to be afraid a reason for being so. This administration excels at that.
He uses the provocative term “criminal aliens” twice in that little screed of his. Shows you he’s not serious about crime, rather more interested in making a political statement.
I’ve got a feeling he knows it but realizes he has to please the boss.
Isn’t that more or less Republican policy as we’ve seen it since they took control of government? “States’ Rights” is just an excuse for Rs to do what they want when Ds are in control.
The party affiliation of the person making the policy is a great indicator. Another is whether or not the policy seems to have been developed in a bar. If it seems like it was created out of the existential angst of a bar, Sessions will love it.
Slam away you sanctimonious old fk. Then study up on what a sanctuary city actually is and you’ll find you have no standing. Lies don’t make laws.
