“Doesn’t recall” is, naturally, a classic answer for “I’m not saying anything, because I don’t think you can prove it.” Of course he didn’t say “No!”
I just had jury duty a couple months ago, and based on four days of hearing testimony, this is the point at which they start asking leading questions – “So, if you don’t recall talking to them, but the WaPo reports that you did, you wouldn’t have any reason to deny that, would you?”
Too bad the FBI has the goods on him already.
“Would you like to buy some photos or video of the meeting?”
Does anyone know if Jeffy boy will be reprising his role as Beverley Leslie in the reboot of Will & Grace? I always liked the way sessions portrayed that character, it seemed like such an accurate representation of Jeff Sessions himself.
Repeatedly going with the “I don’t recall” response generally looks bad, yet that’s what Sessions decided to do.
Of course the meetings weren’t private – they were being broadcast to Moscow!
The Gipper defense. Onset memory loss and pseudo-executive priveledge.
How old and white do I need to be to get my “Can’t Recall Card?”
That’s super convenient.

Wyden talking. Sessions looks like he sees jail in his future.
“Secret innuendo!” Take a drink!
… too much GawdSwill and ToxicTea… and not enough Private Prisons to incarcerate all the mokes he’s planning on persecuting
Is Rubio having a crisis of conscious? He seems really uncomfortable with what’s obviously a whitewashing at least and possibly a cover-up.
Right? I was shocked he asked about the platform change. (But dude still sucks.)
“Senator, perhaps these intercepts will refresh your memory…”
His entire set of questions suggested skepticism of the official story v the actual timeline. What I keyed in on even more though was how unhappy and thoughtful Rubio looked when CSPAN’s camera panned past him to Collins.
A lot of these republican senators were there. They have to consider whether the “speech and debate” clause will protect them.
Yeah. I thought I was in an alternative universe for a moment where Rubio was D-FL.
