Discussion: Sessions, Not Trump, Will Make DACA Announcement Tuesday Morning

Well, of course.

Trump is a coward, and this is giving little gnome Sessions the biggest woody of his life.

Trump is such a coward. He won’t fire people to their face and he won’t announce this awful decision himself. Let someone else take the blame. That should be on his tombstone

Damn it, I am going to say it out loud:
Deplorable
Despicable
Disgusting
Disgraceful
Disingenuous
Duplicitous
Dangerous
Detrimental
Devious
Deadly
and above all
Duped by
Donald

The delayed enactment of the order is another cowardly act. He knows that–well, scratch that, it’s difficult to know how many of actions are deliberate maneuvers and how many are just the striking out of a wounded psyche. My point was that punting it for six months is another piece of his cowardice.

This is not good.

Trump is a typical bully: Loud voice, no guts.

Donald’s “Great Heart” can’t stand the strain–of what his approval numbers are gonna look like when it turns out that for at least part of his Base, mirabile dictu, there’s a limit to their gullibility.
When? Maybe this outrage, or the next, etc. It’ll happen eventually.

The biggest fake news is that Trump is a strong leader willing to speak the truth. He’s a weak-kneed, thin skinned wimp who can’t even stand up to immigrant children. He has to send someone else to do his dirty work.

Cowardly, racist asshole doesn’t say what?

If the fallout becomes too great, Trump will claim that Sessions did this all on his own without Trump’s knowledge. Can’t trust those elves, ya know.

And when the blowback is too big, he’ll hang Jeffy out to dry.

Couldn’t happen to a better guy.

And, of course, Sessions won’t take questions.

Open question to the choir here. I am not religious at all. Atheist, in fact. However, i am sincerely rethinking my position on the supernatural thing about God, and heaven and hell, and all of that stuff. The reason, of course, is that i want, perhaps more than anything in the world at this point, to believe in my heart that T rump, and Jeffery Beauregard Sessions III, and Manafort, and Pence, and Stone, and Sater, and Kushner, and Miller, and everyone else involved in this American nightmare, will suffer eternally in the flames of Hell when they die. Does that make sense?

I honestly don’t think so. Not out of any loyalty to Sessions of course, but because he really couldn’t care less what rest of the country outside his core base, thinks.

There was only one consistent thread in his campaign, from start to finish…Racism and hatred of the Other. Even Russia wasn’t there from the start. But calling Mexicans rapists and drug dealers was. In just the past few weeks…his handling of the Charlottesville response, where it made it perfectly clear that he HATED being made to say bad things about white supremacists, and sure enough, came out saying they were good people; to his pardoning of Arpaio…its precisely that same thread. So of course, revoking DACA status is something he totally is on board with.

They are all moves aimed precisely at that same portion of his base that his racist campaign rhetoric worked so well upon. He is shoring up their support ahead of really bad news on the Russian front. He isn’t playing this to everyone else, only them.

Absolutely. Agree 150% that he does want it, because he’s a bigoted pig.

But, even more than hating brown and black people, he hates it when he gets really, really negative “reviews”… And the “reviews” will be BAAADD, except for the slavering, but slowly shrinking, masses. But, no matter how much he wants it, he’s unwilling to actually personally stand up and own it.

So, he’s deflected it off onto Jeffy, who, as you said up at the top, will get a giant woody from it. He always wants/needs a scapegoat. He’s been quiet about Jeffy, but he’s smacked him before and it may still be simmering. So, when the inevitable backlash comes he has someone to blame with whom he anyhow isn’t happy. And he can slap Jeffy around some more.

I don’t remember seeing this poll before:
I bet the number who agree but won’t agree for a poll is higher
