“Sessions Launches Review Of Judges Handling Immigration Cases”

This is how this looks Sessions trying to get out of Trumps dog house with this move:

I’m not a lawyer or historian, but this doesn’t smell like something ‘American’ (in the good sense of the word) to me

My personal thanks to the Senate majority who confirmed this asshole. He’s as unfit for office as his patron, Trump. Enjoy it while it lasts, Jeffy, you won’t be AG forever.

In a memo to the roughly 350 immigration judges and staff last month, Sessions said he disagreed with “a steady stream of criticism that we are overwhelmed and that the backlog is intractable” and put them on notice that change was coming. He said judges should quickly resolve “meritless cases or motions” and warned them against unwarranted delays.

Sessions: No backlog! No backlog! You’re the backlog!

I am concerned, sickneffintired. I get the impression that you object to thought police. You know, the only people with something to fear, are those with something to hide.

Just think about what you said

In a free country, information about citizens is protected by law. Information about the government is open to the public.

In a police state, information about the government is secret and he citizen’s lives are open books.

Such total information inversion is necessary to facilitate the crimes of government and to prevent those crimes from becoming public knowledge

As summed up by Al Gore
"By closely guarding information about their own behavior, they are dismantling a fundamental element of our system of checks and balances. Because so long as the government’s actions are secret, they cannot be held accountable. A government for the people and by the people must be transparent to the people. "

Yes. Sorry… I was going for creepy sarcasm. You are completely correct, on all counts, up to and including that left to their own devices, our current administration will come for me for no better reason that because I think the Orange Urine-Stain should be hanging from a [sturdy] gallows.

The thought that there is someone waiting in the wings who is worse than Jeffery Beauregard Sessions III (Pruitt) gives me stomach cramps.

The bench is not deep, but it is immensely evil.

Except angle brackets (<>) instead of square ones.

I think your snark meter needs an adjustment. Pretty sure Karl was going for extra heavy snark with his comment.

I thought Pruitt was running for OK Governor? Wouldn’t he pocket more bank as Gov than AG?
