Nice story. But, sorry … I just can’t find anything about Jeff Sessions cute or appealing, although I imagine that’s what the aides who discussed this had in mind.
These two and another top official had what looked like a deliberately public meal together some weeks ago. And there are rumors Sessions is cooperating with Mueller. At any rate, this is good to see.
I agree. I doubt that this is what POuTUS had in mind.
They reran Chris Hayes interview with Eric Holder last night
Uplifting and depressing at the same time .
Uplifting in that he is fighting for us and expresses hope that the Rule of Law will prevail.
Depressing when you realize how far off track this Mal-Administration is and their total lack of comprehension about how the separation of the Justice dept and the White House was established in The Constitution
trump is a uniter the same way that shrub was.
There must be some unknown reason Spanky has not fired Sessions. It is possible that he doesn’t have the guts to do it but it is more likely that Sessions has more dirt on him than anyone. He keeps trying to run him off with insults but Sessions has his lifetime dream job and isn’t going to quit on his own volition. It is good that Sessions and Rosenstein are making a public display of being buddies, which has to be pissing off Spanky big time.
We all know what happens to Sessionskranz and Rosenstein by the end of the play.
Sessions is mostly interested in making his private prison investments successful hence his decision to separate mothers from children at the border. Sessions is a lawyer who will follow that oath, but he is still a scumbag who doesn’t give a shit about anyone outside his white southern elite.
Trump, bringing Southern bigots and Jews together.
Perhaps the Nobel Peace Prize is still within reach.
I think you give Eric Holder way too much credit. (Of course, it could be a sign of the times when an actual shit sandwich is better than the metaphorical shit sandwich that is the Trump “Administration”.) Anyone can claim they are for The Rule of Law, but his record speaks for itself…
Aww, that’s nice you two. Now how about facing up to the fact that you’re supporting and abetting a traitor to the country?
I’d say take it inside please, but it looks like somebody left an outer door open again. Sheesh! Sorry, I’ll never like Jeff Sessions.
Trump is much worse. W went to a Mosque after 9-11 and stated that Islam was a “religion of peace”. Instead what we get from Trump are made up stories about Muslims dancing in the street in New Jersey when the twin towers came down.
