I get ants in my house every spring and it never occurred to me to simply urge them to go somewhere else. I’m going to have to try that.
Just remember to use sternly-worded urgings…
But ants have a larger brain.
Well, if they walk on my desk I smush them with stickies. It doesn’t get sterner than that.

As commendable as it is that these senators made this statement, isn’t this really just waving a red cape in front of a bull? Dump can’t help himself. If you tell him not to push that big red button, the first thing he’s going to do is push that big red button! Just like a little kid…
Tell y’all what, I just got a different take on all of these Congresspeople saying what sounds like weak ass stuff. I think they are establishing a record. I think if he fires him they want a record for what comes next. They have a record that he was warned.
I’m not promising impeachment but I have a real feeling that firing Mueller may just be the line they won’t cross for him.
I would expect Coons to make a statement like this, but Tillis? Or is this the beginning of the batch of fearless Senators who’ll march on the White House (like Goldwater and Buckley did back in the day) urging PuPPet to quit.
That’s a really good thought, Tena. I’m going to file that away for later. You might just be right, in fact I wouldn’t bet against you!
The two lawmakers have been sounding the alarm about Mueller’s vulnerability since August,
So what’s the hang-up exactly, patriotic paralysis?
Yeah the POM (Previously Orange Monster) listens so well…
Did they add to their urging a definitive “pretty please,” or, more forcefully, a “seriously, pretty please?”
Where to go on the day if and when PuPPet does something really, really stupid and impeachable
Look, these guys introduced an act to protect Mueller. I’m not sure they’re deserving of criticism as much as their meekly silent colleagues.
Would GOP senators be doing this is they were not really very concerned?
They’ve introduced legislation to protect Mueller. No fucking need to say pretty please.
A Republican senator behind a bill to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s job joined his Democratic co-author on Tuesday in a bipartisan call for President Donald Trump to let Mueller’s investigation proceed “without impediment.”
O my goodness - thank you.
That’s like…every day.
I would hope this bill passes, but my guess it won’t be allowed to come to the floor for a vote.
Oooo. Good point.
How nice that Tillis is now on record.
