Discussion: Senior GOPer Demands Inquiry of Turkish Leader's Brawling Bodyguards

Seems like a no-brainer. In any normal set of circumstances, this would surely be an international incident.

Does Comrade Cockholster consider Erdoğan’s bodyguards a) thugs, b) role models or, most likely, c) both?

And how long before he calls the video showing the goons’ clearly unprovoked attack on the protester carrying the flag of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), a pro-Kurdish political party in Turkey, FAKE NEWS? Or say “Look at the way Erdoğan has been treated lately, especially by the media. No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse or more unfairly.”

At least one Reoublican has found his spine.

I understand that embassies are considered the sovereign territory of their respective countries (or something like that).

But were these protesters on embassy grounds?

Because otherwise just exactly what they fuck right do Turkish security forces have breaking up a protest, much less beating the crap out of Americans on an American street? (Hint: absolutely no fucking right at all.)

Looks like they were following the Trumpian example of “you can do anything.”

bodyguards traveling with Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his official state visit to Washington “viciously beat multiple individuals, throwing them to the ground and kicking them in the head.”

Who are these foreign assholes who come to America and act like supporters at a Trump rally? Political violence in America is for Americans.
