Justice Department wants more time to study the request. Intelligence chairs says he has sufficient answers but won’t tell what the answer is. What am I missing here?

I suspect Benghazi will somehow enter into this investigation by the time it’s all wrapped up. It’s all about Benghazi for the Republicans/trump … and emails … and microwaves … and Inspector Gadget … as long as we don’t take anything they say literally.

They need more time to figure out how to formulate and obfuscate “Trumpie made it up” in enough incomprehensible gobbledygook that the rubes continue to believe Obama really did surveil using the microwaves in Turnip Tower, while avoiding legal action for lying themselves…

The President has the vast intelligence community at his disposal. All he has to do is ask for a briefing. Yet he prefers to get his info from “news” publications. Maybe his intelligence briefings should come in the form of a TV news program?

Asked about Trump’s wiretapping claims during the press briefing on Monday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said that Trump cited news reports when discussing his tweet with Spicer.

So Trump’s evidence is “news reports”, and of course as we all know, what those “news reports” consisted of were wild unfounded Breitbart/Alex Jones/Mark Levin claims of all manner of things in the Clinton Pizza Parlor Sex Trafficking vein, followed by reports that cited Trump’s wiretapping claims, so the whole thing is one big alt_right circle jerk of the usual suspects doing what they do best. Smoke and mirrors, folks.

Senator Burr…you will be waiting for Hell to freeze over before you get any answers…but enjoy the wait.

This guy is a fucking toady. Why the cryptic language? Just fucking say that the information you received proves there’s no there there, and be done with this shit. This is the reason that between Nunes and Burr we need an independent special prosecutor. Both of these idiots have no independence. They kowtow to the White House and are wasting everyone’s time. On top of that, they’re both afraid of inflaming the already Orange Flambe’ with a direct response of no apparent evidence to prove his dumbfuck accusations.

Burr does a very good Miss Othmar.

That’s no joke. That is how he gets his daily intelligence briefings. That, and probably specially designed picture books. He’s already requested nothing go beyond a 3-page outline of intelligence issues. But what do you expect? The man is practically illiterate. He most likely has someone read it to him as well.

Burr, Comey & Nunes, the Three Musketeers of Total Surveillance. Always hovering nearby, but never close enough to get tainted by the Trump taint. Maybe they are the survivors of US Neofascism Reboot 2.0 when the others get purged, and maybe not. In any case, Burr is bad news.

Sounds like someone who doesn’t want to talk about this anymore. Or are we to believe that the “answers” he received prove 45 correct, but he wants to keep quiet to…protect President Obama? Yeah right.

Just so we’re clear: There is enough evidence for the
President of the United States to make such a strong accusation
(3/4/17) against a former POTUS, that it would be slander if untrue,

but not enough evidence that nine days (3/13/17) later the entire
apparatus of government can assert that there’s anything there at all?

Sorry, but Burr’s statement reads exactly like what someone would say
–hoping to give the impression of legitimacy–when they know
it won’t hold water when the public eventually gets all the facts…

Nothing
He didn’t get the answer that fits the narrative.
He will wait patiently for the aluminum tubes and yellow cake that prove there are weapons of mass destruction…
oh wait
wrong narrative

Senator Burr better be careful, or President Obama won’t spy on him, either.

Bannon: Senator Richard Burr? Hi, it’s Steve Bannon here. I’m calling about your question with respect to the President’s wire-tapping claims. Here’s what you’re going to tell the press: “We’ve gotten sufficient answers from the White House.”

Burr: But what about -

Bannon: You’ve gotten sufficient answers from the White House. Dick. Do you understand me? Dick?

Burr: (Robotically) I’ve gotten sufficient answers from the White House.

Bannon: That’s a good boy.
