Discussion: Senate GOPers Want New Special Counsel To Probe DOJ's Russia Probe

Nice of the Senate Republicans to reconfirm that they are fully complicit in Trump’s treason.

But who, then, shall probe the probers probing the probers?

These guys are not going to look good on the other side of this. Pathetic and desperate.

I’ve long suspected key Senators and Reps, who all have their own sources inside the IC, have long known just how bad this is going to be, as have people like John Brennan - who’s posted some very interesting tweets lately…

This is trying to muddy the pool, and telling it drops the same day Mueller having subpoenaed the Trump Organization makes the press. They are terrified of what’s going to come out and are doing everything they can to divert, distract, and delegitimize.

It’s also why I believe they ran their first year in complete control of the government so recklessly. They’ve known since day one they are on borrowed time.

Once again Grassley shows he is as much of an embarrassment to Iowa as Steve King!

“Senate GOPers Want New Special Counsel To Probe DOJ’s Russia Probe.”

I understand they’ve nominated Yury Chaika.

They’re (The House and Senate GOP) all in on the scam. Have been from the beginning, maybe before that. GOP loves them some Oligarch money.

I think Orly Taitz is available.

And what will their response be when the solicitor general and a newly appointed special council find their charges to be unsubstantiated and their cost to be excessive charges billed to the taxpayer; and when the revenue coming in to th e USA treasury was reduced by these same weak minded individuals.

It’s almost as though the entire GOP has something to hide.

Grassley looks like Jar Jar Binks’ dodgy uncle.

I never thought I’d live to see this kind of betrayal of my country. I didn’t think it was impossible. But I thought there’d be more resistance, more understanding that certain things you just don’t do. Live and learn. And no quarter. When you betray everyone else, when you endanger the welfare of the entire society, you become an outcast.

Almost. Still surprised this article from the Dallas Morning News about Russian money being funneled into the GOP hasn’t gotten more attention. https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/commentary/2017/12/15/putins-proxies-helped-funnel-millions-gop-campaigns

That’s a terrible thing to say about Jar Jar Binks. And to be clear, I despise Jar Jar Binks.

And when the probe probe finds the probe was conducted properly and now laws were violated will they then admit that they have been aiding in treason against the United States in support of a hostile foreign government?

Serious question:

If Grassley were pinned under a tractor, how many NCAA tourney rounds would you wait before dialing 911?

Perhaps the end game is to blunt and move past the looming blood bath for the GOP in November. If they can spread doubt on and “scandalize” Mueller – clouds, shadows, appearance of impropriety – however far fetched, they can count on our MSM to bumble, stumble, and false equivalency it just like they did in 2016. Cons shout unfair!, whatabout! Dems get demoralized. Pubbies retain power. Fin de theatre.

“Make us Stop” - the new Russublican hat. These folks need to be investigated, indicted, convicted, sentenced and made eternal pariahs on the public stage with their party firmly implicated in their shame. Nothing less. We need to fight fire with fire. They are in a fight for their lives, are acting as such and we need to make it so.

O for fuck’s sake.

These are not the actions of people with nothing to hide. I’m looking at you, Grassley. What are you so afraid of?
