I agree with Joshās thesis that this is just the final stage of GOP de-legitimization of our first African-American president. Hands up, everyone who thinks our first woman president will receive better, more respectful treatment.

The ābackfireā on this could be very profound. The republicans could lose control of the senate, the presidential race and in turn the mix of the court. The court could end up far more āliberalā than it would with a current appointment .
