All this talking and hand wringing and posturing. Let’s see a GOP Plan. Ted Cruz has been saying they need to repeal every word of the ACA. Let’s see what their Plan is. Then, let everyone opine and criticize and offer their opinion. Lord knows they insisted on 1,000 amendments to the ACA. So, let them start drafting a Plan, and let us all have plenty of time to see what it is.

You’ll notice that Corker says that are no large discussions taking place about this either. The Congress is set to begin taking up votes over the next three days, some of which would begin the repeal process - and they’re NOT talking about ramifications or options! Even though they hold the majority, I am hoping the Republicans find themselves in a gigantic mess.

If the GOPers keep on this path there is no way they can avoid a Yuuuggee mess. This will throw the health insurance industry into chaos and have the added benefit of blowing a hole in the federal budget.
The shiny new government we now have should follow their own tradition. Just name all the bills they will pass to eliminate all of that unnecessary spending (anything but tax cuts for the top end) The “You’re Better Off Without It Bill No. _______” (in sequence). Then have rallies all over which will be totally covered by cable news.
Before you know it your adoring mobs will be chanting “lock somebody up” or “get the rope” and demanding new hats with snappy slogans. We will then be winning or making America great again … I can see it all now.
One interesting thing here is that if the Rs fail to repeal the ACA on “Day 1,” they will have broken a major campaign promise right out of the chute. That may be helpful later on.
