… so when he withdraws in disgrace, the only fingerprints left on him will be Trump’s.

They’ll be easy to notice, too, 'cause they’re tiny.

Hurry, hurry, before everyone finds out the rest of the story! I hope they don’t have a replacement immediately waiting in the wings. (I think they have been taken aback by the resistance. They are more accustomed to getting away with their skullduggery in the dark. I grant endless gratitude to Dr. Blasey Ford for the courage to shine a light on them, even at great personal sacrifice.)

By all means, let’s not gather or discuss facts.

I look at these statements as ass-covering when it all goes horribly, horribly off the rails.

I was thinking about voting for him! Honest!

I think that a lot of our members are really upset with the tactics Democrats have used

I bet the Germans were really upset that we used the tactic of killing them with bullets and bombs in World War Two.

Such a helpless feeing knowing the next 35 years of women’s rights, voting rights, and union rights depend on the votes of Murkowski, Flake, and/or Collins.

More accurately, the last 35 years of women’s rights, etc. depend on those three. I am not optimistic; the GOP got away with Trump and feel they can do it in the Senate too. Trump’s party indeed.

Also the GOP M.O. is that they never never admit fault or defeat. So they have to die on this hill. It’s just… them.

Brett Kavanaugh is neither a serial killer, a serial rapist nor a serial child molester. He’s just done a handful of sexual assaults give or take. He does it more as a hobby amongst his other home improvement projects. In his family, in his christian conservative gang and according to his deeply held religious beliefs, sexual assault is a badge of honor.

I think that a lot of our members are really upset with the tactics Democrats have used,” Sen. John Thune (R-SD)

I have two words in response to Senator Thune: Merrick Garland.

They can save themselves the difficult vote by letting the powers that be know ahead of time, assuming, that is, that they realize that voting for Kavanugh at this point is a very bad move for their long-term prospects.

Thune added: ‘while we always go low, they are supposed to go high.’

I would hope that the behavior of the GOP lately would sway people to realize the GOP are evil people

“The lives of over 300 million Americans are being affected by policies foisted on them by a Senate ‘majority’ that represents less than one-fifth of them and a president who was elected with three million fewer votes than his opponent.”

-Juan Willams

But, hey, don’t listen to me. Just clap vote harder.

What goddamn tactics? What exactly have the Democrats “done”? Let a victim of assault have her say?

What else do you suggest they do?

I mean the Democrats, per se, haven’t done anything. Ms. Ford came forward on her own. The GOP are pretending this was all an orchestrated plot. Because all they do is project.
