When are they gonna have a vote on whether Jesus is real?? or if Mary was a REAL virgin?

Change the official facts by a vote? This is sooo Republicant to declare what exists and what doesn’t by [poisoned] popular vote. (Except that didn’t seem to work in their favor with Obama.)

They will have to define the term virgin. As it is in the bible, the term virgin means “unable to have children” meaning Mary was pre-pubescent as was the definition of the term in Judaism at the time. Only two books talk about the virgin birth, Luke and Matthew, and the Luke story for certain confirms this interpretation:

Luke 1:34-37 - 34 And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?”
35 And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and
the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to
be born will be called holy, the Son of God. 36 And behold, your
relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is
the sixth month with her who was called barren. 37 For nothing will be
impossible with God.”

Elizabeth would also have been considered a virgin for the second time using the parlance of the time.

Matthew doesn’t over ride that interpretation because it is too vague. Matthew does state that Jesus is a descendant of David, but Joseph is the line from David, not Mary, so Jesus must be his biological son. But Matthew 1: 22-23 says:

22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the
prophet: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they
shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).

Which could easily mean that Joseph got it on with a 9 year old.

But that is neither here nor there. Not sure a vote on that topic would be productive. Unlike Climate Change, lots of debate on the subject.

I have no doubt many in the GOP would say it’s real. However, we know it’s either God’s will, or it’s not remotely human caused, so we aren’t really required to do anything about it. After all, in North Carolina it’s illegal for sea level to rise. Now THAT’s responsible GOP-sponsored legislation that deals directly with the issue.
