Discussion: Senate Dems Block GOP Effort To Shorten Trump Nominee Debate Time

We should institute blanket impeachment proceedings for all judges nominated by Trump once we get the Senate back, as being illegitimate due to the nomination coming from an illegally-influenced election.

Probably not constitutional, and likely to be used against us at some point, but entertaining to think about.

Great great great Post…IANAL, but this is going to HAVE to be discussed. Trump got to be POTUS in an underhanded way…and the actions of such a person will have to be looked at as tainted.

I’m sure on an individual basis we can find all the reasons we need which are. Starting with Kavanaugh lying under oath.

The point of targeting a blanket impeachment would be to dig each and every unqualified idiot out of the lifetime knighthoods and kingships they’ve obtained illicitly.

I’m sure there’s at least two or three who we could allow to stay.

Regardless of the outcome this is one mighty fine photograph of McConnell

I am not going to throw in the towel on that one.

Exhibit A: We don’t have the Fucking Mueller Report.

“…another step toward a potential power play by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who is considering ramming the rules change through later this week using an arcane parliamentary maneuver.”

McConnell IS an arcane parlaimentary maneuver.

Fuck that shit. Democrats have been rolling over for decades, and getting nothing for their efforts except taken advantage of.

Do hope we’re finally waking up to the Republican game and decide to engage in progressive scorched-earth tactics when we are back in the saddle.

Hey, don’t ask me.

Somehow, Harry Reid failed to find ANY of these “arcane parliamentary rules” that McConnell has been using to rule the Senate since 2010. Even when he was in the minority.

I’m actually all for a two hour debate limit – provided that there is a quorum during the entire two hours of debate. In other words, if McConnell wants to push through a nomination that badly, he has to get 49 GOP senators to sit and listen to one democrat give a two hour speech…

there is nothing in the constitution that prohibits multiple impeachment procedings in the case of a conspiracy. So just charge them all with conspiracy…

Honest to GOD! We can’t filibuster, voting is now a simple majority, the judiciary is packed with Conservative morons that barely passed law school, Dems are barely allowed to speak and NOW Turtlehead is trying to limit the time to find out what the hell the person is THINKING???

Yurtle can always respond with “We all know he/she is gonna lie their ass off anyway. Doe the questions and answer actually matter?”

Mitch McConnell and his gang of misfit corrupt Republicans felt it was alright to block and obstruct Obama for eight years, now they are getting a taste of the same medicine they gave out.

I was thinking severe constipation. After all, complete obstruction is his kind of thing.
