Do you really think this will keep them from passing this bill? They’ll make some bs up about how it was the best they could do and it will get ‘fixed’ in the conference committee and ram it through anyway. They really do not care how bad the optics are.

Only the Republican constituents have any chance whatsoever now of putting an end to this monstrosity.
If they made calls and sent faxes and all flooding their Reps offices and phones, that might make a difference.
McConnell won’t even peak out of his shell over Democratic concerns.

The AMA, the AHA and AARP are all against this bill. It’s dead. I’m guessing the majority of Senate Republicans never even wanted to hear of it. Now, they’ll do anything they can to kill it. Most won’t come out in public against it, because that’s not how Senators roll. They mostly act in private and out of sight. In the end, this bill will have more Senator’s knives stuck in it than Julius Caesar had.

Washington (CNN)Hillary Clinton has a new name for the Republican Party if Congress manages to pass the Senate health care bill: “death party.”
The Democratic presidential nominee’s Twitter account shared a study Friday afternoon from a progressive think tank, the Center for American Progress, predicting that the Senate bill could lead to between 18,000 and 27,000 additional deaths in 2026 if those people have no coverage.
“Forget death panels. If Republicans pass this bill, they’re the death party,” she tweeted.
